Ok can we just talk about the fact that someone is being honest about women in the “traditional work” field AND someone who wants to also be creative? More people need to look at this and really appreciate what life is giving us! We are all creative; we are all kind; and when other people put those two together, it creates a community!! Let’s all appreciate this!! Also, low key, I’m proud of everyone who is honest about their feelings, whether it’s infertility, career, family, anything else. It’s so brave to be honest. You should all be so proud. I’m proud of you, lol. I would really like to have a child someday, but working as an engineer, it’s assumed I’ll take my fiances last name, I’ll quit my job, I’ll do etc. Etc. When that’s not in everyone’s path! And that’s ok! We all deserve the right to be happy and to be happy for each other. I get married in literally NINE days and stuff like this makes me think I can balance it all. THANK YOU for keeping this community around
Hi Rachel, there's a South African professional cleaner who recommends using corn starch to remove oil stains from clothes.. Wet the oil stain spot, put some corn starch on it, leave overnight and wash it in cold water and dish washing liquid. Should come right off
For the stain (even after it has been washed) a bar of like dove soap classic will take it out. Just use it dry rub it on the oil stain rub it enough lol then rewash and it should come out. This also works for fabric softener stains or detergent stains
I enjoyed this vlog. Looks like y’all have fun at work. The hibachi food looked delicious. I saw that comment (smart face) on your vlog that you talked about. 😢 Your hair looks so pretty during the Q&A time. You seem to have a great job & family. What a blessing. ❤
Rachel! Use straight up Dawn dish soap directly on the oil stain (no water). Then, spray it with Shout or Spray & Wash. Let it sit for a couple days & then wash as normal. Works for me every time!
Hi Rachel, I just wanted to give you your props because it is clear that you take your job seriously and that you do it very well (even with the interesting convos going on outside your door😂). Keep doing an great job, we see you!💛P.S How excited was A.J when he saw that Hibachi?
I've tried every trick in the book to get oil out of clothes and the only thing I've done that actually helps is Dawn Blue Platinum dish soap (I can't vouch for the other colors) Apply it directly to the oil spot. Rub it in. Let it sit for hours. I let it sit over night, sometimes longer if it's a really bad stain. Then just throw it in the wash as normal. If a large part of the garment is stained I will fill a basin up with hot water and put a ton of Dawn in it and let the garment soak in that over night. Then I wash as normal. I've gotten Olive oil, canola oil, oil from fried food, gun oil etc. Out of clothes. Even after they've already been washed. Hopefully it works for you too.
Just a tip, Papier is the French word for "paper", look up the pronunciation on Google for the French word, that's likely how it's pronounced! :) I love watching these day in the lifes for people with regular 9-5's they're so much more relatable.

For the oil stains, before washing it I put dawn dish soap directly on the stain as a pretreatment to the wash

This works, my husband spilled turkey grease on his khakis and it was stained, but dawn dish soap over night cleanered it very well.
yay thank you!!!
I do miss your 9-5 work vlogs. I enjoyed this one! :)
I always use dish washing liquid to get oil stains out. And then I wash clothes in the washing machine as usual. It works 👍🏻
For oil stain, you can sprinkle some gram flour and let it sit for a few hours. Then just dust it off. Usually works for me. ✌🏼
Loved this video so much! The trio fam❤ You should do more of this really😊
Thank you! Will do!
Poor Rach tryna get work done and her fam just bothering her 😂
do you SEE how many times i get interrupted?!
You need a spray bottle like for cats. *squirt squirt*@@RachelVinn
dawn dish soap on grease spot. preferably before wash. but let it sit on the stain for a while prior to washing/rewashing it.
