Woah, this was quite a pleasant surprise. A story I've never heard that was long, fascinating, and very well presented / narrated. The accents were spot on, and made each character feel different and unique. Most narrators don't put this much emphasis on defining each individual character, but you did a fantastic job on even the least important people that don't have many lines. It's the attention to detail that most people don't really give any second thought to, unlike this video, which changes it from 'just a story' to an actual experience, and an adventure, that we're going on with you. P.S. - My apologies if I worded that a bit confusingly, I'm just really tired at the moment, lol. I'll edit it later if I remember - but anyways, thanks for this awesome production! It had me hooked from the beginning till the end.
I agree with his comment, if it gets my imagination going on picturing everything with great detail to the extent that its like if I was watching a video, movie or an animated motioned film (yes if I'm in the mood I picture it as if it was a Japanese anime, though most times I picture your narrations as if it was a live action or in other words using memories from real events of my life to set up the whole scenario). I like it when great details are used because it really puts my mind as if I was there like a director when they are filming a movie. I do all the imagination work to the point that I have an inner mind movie playing very well as I am relaxed working and mostly just using my subconscious to do all the work I do like measurements, hammering, shoveling, digging, drilling, screwing, raking, cutting, etcetera & etcetera, its very similar to auto pilot mode.
I’ve got to say, I think this is my favorite creepy pasta story to date. The amount of nail biting I did the whole time left my fingers to nubs and I thank you for it! Amazing narration, I will be subscribing!
I recently found another amazing channel thats pretty small, and well worth checking out called The Last Lodge. Criminally underated. I just binged the lamplight woods series and am hooked and waiting for them to drop the next one.

Its kinda a prequal to a, series called my roommate is slenderman which is about the guy who is the husband to the women in the case and he becomes roomates with slenderman
Well done. Looking forward for more to the story if possible. Character voices are believable and story had me on edge of my seat. This should be made into a game or movie/series involving the main protagonist. Interesting how he was casually talking to the guy as he was bleeding out, but considering what he has been through not to surprised.
That chuckle you made when reading the part about the forest shutting the fuck up. Killed me😅. That part was funny . Grandpas are pretty cold cut. This story has me caught up big time I'm a third of the way through and I'm like "yes I know I have class ... But something important has come up... Lol

If the author reads this, well done and thank you for the fun story! I'll add, if you include poker in any of your future works, you need to learn a little bit about how it works. The mistakes here are glaring enough to rip the listener out of the moment for a bit. First, you can't count cards in poker. Only one deck is used and it's shuffled after every hand. Card counting is typically done in games with multiple decks dealt from a shoe. I guess you could sort of "count cards" in stud, but not really. Everyone sees the face up cards. Also, in Texas hold 'em, the players are only dealt two cards, then share the five board cards which are dealt 3, 1, 1. The flop, turn and river. Great narration here as well! First I've heard you. Look forward to your channel getting me through my work night
One more thing for the author, I'm actually a card cheat. I don't actually steal from people, I just do demonstrations of the different moves cheaters use. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I'd be more than happy to help you write a realistic and believable card table scene
First off, I wanna say I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Secondly, yeah honestly, Idk what tf I was smoking while writing that scene XD. I think I was writing it based on memory and until recently I hadn't played texas holdem in a long time. When I listened to the narration, I was like "bro, what did I think I was doing here?" In the future I will be sure to research it, I appreciate the way you told me, it was simply honest and you weren't trying to be a dick or anything. Also, I actually didn't know the counting cards thing, I did so much research for this and I thought I understood poker well enough but apparently not sweat_smile. When I end up redoing this scene in the future, and if I do future poker scenes, I'll be sure to make sure I actually know what I'm talking about next time.

It's a prequel to "my roommate is Slenderman series". I highly recommed the series as it then plays into the Crebus series.

I'll add, if you include poker in any of your future works, you need to learn a little bit about how it works. The mistakes here are glaring enough to rip the listener out of the moment for a bit.
First, you can't count cards in poker. Only one deck is used and it's shuffled after every hand. Card counting is typically done in games with multiple decks dealt from a shoe. I guess you could sort of "count cards" in stud, but not really. Everyone sees the face up cards. Also, in Texas hold 'em, the players are only dealt two cards, then share the five board cards which are dealt 3, 1, 1. The flop, turn and river.

One more thing for the author, I'm actually a card cheat. I don't actually steal from people, I just do demonstrations of the different moves cheaters use. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I'd be more than happy to help you write a realistic and believable card table scene
First off, I wanna say I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Secondly, yeah honestly, Idk what tf I was smoking while writing that scene XD. I think I was writing it based on memory and until recently I hadn't played texas holdem in a long time. When I listened to the narration, I was like "bro, what did I think I was doing here?" In the future I will be sure to research it, I appreciate the way you told me, it was simply honest and you weren't trying to be a dick or anything. Also, I actually didn't know the counting cards thing, I did so much research for this and I thought I understood poker well enough but apparently not sweat_smile. When I end up redoing this scene in the future, and if I do future poker scenes, I'll be sure to make sure I actually know what I'm talking about next time.
