What can’t Trey Lyles give the Kings at the 4-5? That’s the trade deadline question.
    Potential names:
    Utah: John Collins
    Portland: Robert Williams
    Detroit: Isaiah Stewart

I believe Monte McNair has prioritized shooting in almost every deal he has made. Sam Amick said the same thing last year as well when most people thought they needed defense. I also think Monte is saving his powder for another star especially one in his early prime like the Athletic reported after the season ended. All this being said, I expect the Kings to revisit a Lauri Markkanen deal next offseason when Lauri is trade eligible again as he matches all the criteria I have outlined.

Le problème pour Clarkson et John Collins c'est quel serait la contrepartie demandé par le Jazz qui a mon avis serait trop importante.

Dorian finney smith seems like such a great fit and pick up for kings to bolster our bench and add wing length and depth

Naw finney is washed ! What has he done last 2 seasons?

Before the GG Jackson injury, I thought there was a decent chance that they would end up not really having a place for Santi Aldama in their rotation, and he'd be an ideal guy to pick up, but that seems unlikely now.

Marvin Bagley vous coûtera moin cher a faire venir que Kelly Olynyk.

Les Hornets sont en mode victoire , ils veulent participer au playin .
Maintenant Sacramento devrait penser a récupérer Marvin Bagley qui joue a Washington.

Imo main need is low usage wing. DFS is the best option, mobile can defend both f positions. He is on his last year so we could sigh him for like 2y 20m next summer. I would give one 1st and huerter for him. To have a player with 15 mil salary that is like 7th player in team is a luxury. Main problem huerter will always be a hole at d and now we cant even trust his off. And with derozan we also do not need a high usage player. Dfs fits just perfect. In general i dont think we need a starter now, or players like j. Grant. With derozan we already gonna limit murray progression at some level no need to make it even worse. I am out of idea to play sabonis at Pf, 15 years ago maybe it could work but not nowadays. I think len is fine fit.

DFS? If he were to be brought to Sac to backup Keegan Murray, what happens with Trey Lyles? Right now, he is the primary backup for Murray. While DFS is better on the defensive side of the ball, I am bot sure he provides anything more from the offensive side of the ball.
Kyle Kuzma I think is out as an option. No reason to get him at all. Not with DeRozan on the team.
Cam Johnson? Maybe. Again, wonder if he provides more than Lyles on the bench. More athletic, sure. But does he provide a significant upgrade over Lyles who has done a really good job since coming to Sacramento? I am not sure.
Grant Williams? Depends on the cost to get him. However, I wonder about his fit with the Kings when he played himself out of Dallas. Ni questions about his talent, only if he can fit in with the locker room and coaching staff.
Saddiq Bey? Maybe, but only if the cost is low.
Kelly Olynyk... maybe, but again...like Bey...cost has to be low.
Cody Martin? Not very familiar with his game, so not sure.
    Larry Nance, Jr. - Maybe.
    Draymond Green? No damn way.
PJ Tucker...I can see that one. Just as long as the price isn't ridiculous. Granted, the Clippers would want to be ridiculous.
I don't see the Pacific Division as being that good.
I think the Clippers losing Paul George, Russell Westbrook....it is going to hurt them.
I don't think the Lakers or Warriors are going to be that good either.
I think it is the Kings and Suns who will be the class of the division.
Robert Williams 3, talent wise, really good. Injury issues, make me wonder if it would be worth it.
    Jeremi Grant...no thanks.
    Jordan Clarkson, not sure.
John Collins.... maybe. As long as the cost isn't bad. He is still a good player overall and probably will cost a good amount.

You last podcast topic is how Monk will demand his role as starting SG and how they change the line up over the season and then now, trade deadline targets. are you thinking the kings will be worst this season 😅
Kings will not make any move the whole season because they are aware of foxs and keagan contract and they will wait until next offseason

  • @DM-831
    @DM-831 11 дней назад

That would be a dumb addition !

All this talk about upgrading the defense with a wing defender is non-sense. Kings can not upgrade D without a rim defender. The focus on D upgrade cost the Kings on the offensive end and ultimately squandered the number one offense in NBA history!
The plan to upgrade the D without a rim defender is a wish not a plan and a flawed objective. One playoff appearance in nearly 2 decades and they make changes that end up stopping any momentum this team had. Seems flawed

Grant Williams is the better player and we can play a switchable small ball lineup with both players
