Hands down the best performance of Know ever. Vocalise is very different as no words are sung, just scatting and awesome music. I love this performance and so glad you got around to it eventually. You really need to look at the New York concert as he was brilliant.
Hi Bud, great reaction and yeah I agree this is my favourite too, a masterpiece of vocalisation, Hence the 'ascolta la voce' (listen to the voice) which he does at beginning and end in vocal fry. The whole tour was called 'Arnau' but this specific one was at Kiev on 11th Mar 2020, the last live performance he did before having to postpone the remainder due to covid lockdowns. The remaining ones restart around 25th Mar with his solo concert in Dubai. 👍👍😊

Today though, I would like to say that I pray for his safety and for the safety of his people and his beloved homeland, Kazakhstan. May their troubles soon be over and may peace and freedom come to them. I'm sure that the violence currently overtaking his country is a deep wound to Demash's heart.

I am a SA Dear for almost 5 years now. For me there is no one better than Dimash. I do not always agree with his decisions but that does not mean he is not the best. I think singing a song over and over might be boring for the artist so he explores. He is very creative and most of the time his performances are perfection. If I'm not totally mistaken, the song Know was also known first as Ascolta La voce, listen to the voice. Without text. And only later was it turned into a song with lyrics. Hence Dimash's words at the beginning and at the end. That was the title and was intended as a piece to improvise. I love both variations because they both have their own magic.

This Arnau and VTB versions of Know are BEST in my opinion. They’re live and pour emotions, energy out of him. He is definitely somewhere else not on that stage. I think I have listened to 3 different versions of just this vocalise one and of course they are all a bit different too. I think he sits on the floor in all of them. I particularly love the music in this one. Starts out with just a simple one note piano and gradually builds to a crescendo. I actually can’t really remember the other ones because I always listen to this one but they are also awesome. It is funny that this vocalise is one of my favourite performances though because I actually did not like the original Know because I didn’t like the vocalise but then I heard this and loved it. Now I can listen to them back to back over and over.
