Mavic 3 Classic - First Flight Recolour and edit.

- I have been trying to learn how to colour correct and grade my video footage from my Mavic 3 Classic drone over the last year or so, as I have been using the Log profiles more and more to get more dynamic range from my footage.
I decided to have a go at this video I uploaded shortly after purchasing the Mavic 3. The video was shot all in the "Normal" colour profile at the time, and although the footage is not technically LOG footage, and great SOC, it can definitely do with some small editing tweaks.
I first added the DJI LUT, "D-Log M to REC.709 V1", that I downloaded for free from the DJI website.

Although this LUT isn't made for this profile, I've found that it is an excellent starting point for colour correction and grading to any Normal profile footage, just remember to expose your footage properly when you record it. With some simple contrast and colour saturation adjustments in your editing software after applying the LUT, you can make the footage look much better.
I use DaVinci Resolve, but any video editing software should do the job.

Since recording this footage, I have switched over to using D-Log, D-Log M, and HLG. This LUT also works great with the HLG profile setting, and as DJI doesn't offer a LUT specific to HLG, this was a bonus.

Cheers mate. Normally I wouldn't worry too much about the colours in the Normal Profile, but this LUT from DJI definitely makes a difference.
