He might not have helped her during the rumors at the beginning, neither did Alex, but he didn't start any of them either and he was actually nice to her when she needed a bit of comfort (after Marcus) and never did anything to her until *she* went off on him, in front of the whole damn cafeteria, and that embarrassment then spurred him to get back at her but even so, he didn't do it the way the others did. He didn't humiliate her publicly, didn't let his friends know: he just messed with her on the DL in a way that he thought was harmless. There was no way for him to know just how unstable she was at that time or how much the little drawings meant to her until he read the letter and we also saw that he didn't even throw away the letter like Hannah thought, which makes her an unreliable narrator/POV.

Season 4: Justins death His death hurt like millions of bombs in my chest and when he died, they all exploded. I still haven't recovered, I had an attack becuase of how emotionally traumatic it was. I can feel my heart slowly crumbling and I dont think I'll be able to find the pieces to pick them up. This death was the saddest most heartbreaking thing in the world because I've never hurted so much.
I agree his character deserved to live and go on and live a good future. Not get better , be clean, get accepted to college , be a role model, ALL for him to relapse because his mom died , finding out he had AIDS then die in a matter of days. He came from the bottom and ended up at the bottom. When he was almost on top they killed him off right back at the bottom. So sad.
I really feel like people don't understand how deep brotherhood can be and how toxic it can be also. Boys have this bond that can be horribly emotionally manipulative and pressure filled. But as much as I sympathize with his situation and wish his home life had been better, he doesn't get a pass just because his life was s**t. Tyler doesn't; Courtney doesn't; neither does Marcus.The only way he'll get true redemption and be able to live with and love himself is if he pays for the part he played in it all. I worry about his mental stability tho. He's lost everything. There's no telling what he'll do or is capable of(just like Tyler).

But as much as I sympathize with his situation and wish his home life had been better, he doesn't get a pass just because his life was s**t. Tyler doesn't; Courtney doesn't; neither does Marcus.The only way he'll get true redemption and be able to live with and love himself is if he pays for the part he played in it all.
I worry about his mental stability tho. He's lost everything. There's no telling what he'll do or is capable of(just like Tyler).

Once a video gets to around the hundred thousand views stage the comments section tends to take an interesting turn haha... I guess your vid description here might've started it too. I love the debates about the characters and the opinions. I think it's really interesting and complicated how they painted Justin and made him a really easy to feel for victim in many ways by the end of the show, but still made him make some really bad choices from the beginning, but all along mainly make his friend Bryce the "Evil" one and you could see it from the first tape...
