Head was one of my main reasons to come back to Christ. I idolized Jesus as a kid then I idolized KoRn as a teen, Head doing what he did made my current life possible.

I believe there may be some misunderstandings about what it truly means to be "born again." In my view, a genuine transformational experience should lead to significant changes in one's lifestyle and perspective. When someone is truly born again, it's expected that their life reflects a shift towards positivity and a departure from previous darkness. Without those changes, it can be challenging to see that transformation as authentic. I understand this may be disappointing to some, but I think it's important to have honest conversations about these beliefs.

Many are called but few are chosen...this is why you see the calling from God and his chosen people repenting and accepting his truth...doesn't matter who you are if you're chosen...God will pick you up and bring you home.

It is so good to see the whole band clean and back together. When you see them all together and how they interact with each other nowadays they all just seem to be so much happier as a band and as a family. They are better clean than they ever were before and still throwing down hard and strong. It's rare to see a band hold it down and stay together for as long as KoRn has. They just celebrated 25 years together and I don't think they ever would have made it if they hadn't all gotten clean! They are by far my favorite band and I hope we get to have them for many more years to come.
Brian Welch is amazing . I'm reading his book , "With My Eyes Wide Open". It's great . I've always liked Korn's music , right from the beginning . I am a true woman of God , and I am also a true rock chick . I sing and dance rock music , all the time . This is very refreshing to know that I'm not the only one who is a Christian and a true rocker at the same time . It's a very rewarding and refreshing life . I sing , dance , and write , not professionally , but unto Jesus . I really do , and I'm enjoying the fullness of life in Him .

For those that don't ...my husband use to be a skeptic until one day he prayed to God and asked him if He was real , to reveal himself . He also was totally delivered from a smoking habit of over 20 years . My husband is now a believer . The peace that comes is not like the world gives . This is a lasting peace . Not a religious man but my wife and her extended family helped me get over the booze. Still drink beer every couple nights but not like I used too. Support helps. Don’t make someone feel bad, just try to let them know you’re there for them

And I hope and pray that more metal musicians get to know the Lord and pass it on to more of the secular rock and metal community, so that they can have the blessing of having a intimate relationship with God. nothing wrong with the darkness expressed in metal. Thats what makes it metal, thats why i listen to it and thats why i dont listen to happy music. I need people who know how to artistically express sorrow and agonizing thoughts. We need death metal and heavy metal bands to remind us of our darkness and brokenness through heavy and brutal expressions of music. Thats what at least brings me some peace; knowing im not alone in feeling miserable and angry and hurt.

I don't have any money. I still believed in God when I was homeless. It was becaue I believe that I didn't end up despising Him for the situation I was in.
I want to wish you good luck in dealing with your addiction. I hope you find some way that works for you of just getting through it, day by day, be it faith, friends, or whatever. Just know that you can turn it around.
Science and logic has done more to prove that God does exist. It's because of logic and reason, in conjunction with studying the historicity of the Gospels, along with the rest of the New Testament, that brought me to Christ. It was never about blind, evidence-less faith simply because I wanted to believe something that made me feel better. There's a great book "Is the New Testament Reliable?" by Paul Barnett. It's an overview, but pretty comprehensive and a great start. Best wishes to you.

wow, just wow... kudos to Brian for the courage... it's not easy to walk away from the fame, money, power and all that brings to you... my addictions may not have seemed as severe as drug abuse but I had a bunch of them. And I can vouch for this - when I dedicated my life to Christ, I dropped them almost instantly and without any effort on my side. I just let the God in my heart (not just my words) and prayed to make me more like what I was intended to be... that's it. 2 addictions that were crippling me gone and aren't bothering me anymore... God is real, and his might is undeniable.
When I first came to christ I still went to bars and drank but I said to myself I'm still going to church in the morning no matter what. I was committed no matter what and what I did I took the responsibility of my sins and of all I did didn't blame other people for my condition I did it to myself. And slowly God restored me slowly to show me he's the healer. 30 years later still showing me the way and being used.
I realised one thing for certain in this life. those who are adamant about Heaven or hell not existing are only people who fear the unknown so they have to bash it instead of investigating for themselves. It's like those who see a ghost KNOW what they saw...even if they don't believe it at first...but they soon realise what they saw was real. Those who experience God KNOW what they saw or felt. Nobody has the right to take that away from them...nobody.

Now i love Indie music!!🔊🎼🎶 A band called River and Robots !!! And those like it.. i lack for nothing now.. When i sing i sing to The Lord and Him alone.. It's indescribable!!!🌠! Instead of wondering if lyrics are allowable as a child of God. And then pay the consequences if they weren't ... I know for a fact what I'm listening to is completely acceptable unto God and it benefits me as well as I enjoy it better than any secular stuff I used to listen to before. Matter of fact that stuff doesn't even sound good to me anymore.🛇. Which I thought would never happen!! God is good and he will answer your prayer if you truly truly love Him. We have not because we ask not .Ask Him for help I believe a huge portion of Christians need to be delivered from music that is not edifying. I feel sorry for this guy's daughter who is trapped by secular satanic music. He's not doing you any favors by introducing her to this and allowing her and taking her to concerts. It's one thing to go to these concerts just to spread the gospel its another to go and enjoy the music and say that" you need to be enjoying that in order for people to hear you" I believe the opposite is true you just disqualify yourself😔......
