The rarity of Tezzeret's Gambit is because in edh precons, rare means that the card is not shared with other precons, uncommon in two of them (I think) and common means that is in everyone
The rarity in commander precons only matters for new cards. for reprints, they match the rarity of the previous printing of the card, and since the last printing of Tezzeret's gambit is a rare from the Strixhaven mystical archives it's a rare here.
I reccomend some of the outlast cards from Khans that give creatures with +1 one counters keywords. As well as the mono white anafenza to give more counters.

What are your thoughts on making 4 Color Atraxa Deck by combing the idea of this deck with the idea of the other counters deck from Ikoria „Symbiotic Swarm“. With Atraxa proliferating the hell out of your counters seems a lot of fun. I think I will try this.
If you want to be truly filthy, run Temporal Distortion with the various seedborn muse effects (drumbellower, wilderness rec, curse of bounty, wtc.). With Kros in play its permanent goad if they have to tap to attack until you choose to remove Temporal Distortion from play. Run Awakening to be less oppressive, but till effective. Run fun stuff like Rein of Power and Illusionist's Gambit that they will never see coming.
