Can we stop and appreciate just how powerful Cloud truly has to be? I don’t hear it mentioned in raps yet but without training he managed to stab Sephiroth which is a feat in itself with the Buster Sword. Then, after getting counter stabbed and Lifted Off The Ground he managed to pick Sephiroth up and toss him down the reactor when Cloud should’ve had Zero leverage on his own. And that was before soldier enhancement Mako energy strengthening his body. Not to mention after amnesia he never personally learned anything soldier. The most he had was Zacks stories, what he saw, what he read, and any beginner classes he learned. So, Cloud probably truest is a Natural at combat and being a Soldier.
iirc, after clouds mental recovery from the lifestream, he mentions how he was physically built for SOLDIER but was mentally weak and couldnt handle the mako + jenovas cells infusion.
This reminds me of some of his older raps. I love his older raps! The newer ones are good, but in a different way. I'm glad he could return to form.
GBJ has really been on this elevated level recently. He’s just flexing in everything song and I love it

This was so gd hype! I love the way you mix the original theme of whatever you're rapping about. It fits so well and gets the bars hitting harder. I risk sounding like a broken record, but I'mma say it as many times as I need to: your flow is on another level, man! And GBJ came in hard reminding Cloud who was in control! The back and forth was incredible and captured their rivalry incredibly!

Tbh though ... I really loved final fantasy seven remake.... Except how they showed Zack was apparently alive.... Like don't get me wrong I love Zack but it seriously undermines all of cloud's efforts if Zack is alive...
I can't agree more but all the remakes of games that's been coming out has been giving a fresh look at what the game could become. Zack begin alive doesn't take away cloud because his death could be different vs how it was the first time. And it can have a bigger impact on the series as a whole.
