  • This video will help you identify and correct technical mistakes with your backhand overhead shots. We look at some common mistakes we see players make, comparing the right and wrong techniques. This is a very technical skill to learn but hopefully we can help you master the backhand overhead in badminton. We also had Daryl dancing at the end when we was meant to be filming this video.     Injury risk to biceps if arm is straight.it needs some bend all throughout the stroke.otherwise the long head of biceps can be torn at the shoulder.

    I can't afford the feature shuttles. Does this technique also works with nylon plastic shuttles?

      Yes same technique for both but feathers will fit better with a more consistent flight.

    this whole video is a mistake. There is no such thing as a backhand in badminton, there's only round the head forehands that didn't make it there in time :)
    Joking aside, thanks for the useful tips!
