I just finished restoring a 1975 Strat... wasn't cheap 😬 but took my time and did it right. I got a 1976 from a lady whose husband had recently passed away. Got it for $900. It was in perfect condition! Black, white pickguard but crappy gold hardware. Just had gotten home and the phone rang. It was the lady, she said she had just found the original case and it had a plastic bag... FULL of the original hardware... she said come on back and get it. Amazing luck! Even so, I sold it like a frigging imbecile. So this '75 has redeemed me (sort of).
They were hand american made until 77, then they went to japan and they were machine made from then on...mine is very close to this, its a 76 black pick guard no whammy, got all factory paper work...what are they worth now??
Love these mate, keep em coming
The 3 bolt necks were not the problem. The over sized neck pockets was the problem.

People don't want finish on their necks and 7.25 radius and then that say. Fender don't make guitars like use to.They don't becoes of us.
could be me, but it looks like the intonation is a little off. Especially on the low E.
Too bad it’s not a 1972
