Good job with the video, liked the picture in picture segments with the ground view and drone view. Are you going to chase 4014 to California or just video again when it returns your way? Some of the drone views make me think I am looking at a model railroad. Keep up the good work.
Video again when it returns my way. I am back at work for a while then I'll be out again when it gets near Carlin Nevada. I may not be able to get it there but definitely when it reaches Lakeside
Kinda crazy how many people stand too close to the tracks or pace the train regardless if the speed of the road/highway matches the trains speed leading to traffic backups for everyone else. You even have the person in the truck at 17:46 who is completely oblivious to the cop who's trying to pass them in order to reach the next crossing, and almost hits the cop as he lists into the oncoming lane.
I executed the drone flight path a few times before the train arrived to make sure I could get the clip safely. I was on the side of the train when I was going slower than it. I was only in front whenever I matched its speed which was for a little bit. Moved over to the side when it started catching up. Also had a collision trajectory planned to avoid the train if it came to it.
How can you watch this and NOT give it a thumbs up? Come on, people! Great video work
