I’ve thought about how to track down IRL John Titor. Average military aged male is 18-28 (prime of your physical life), so to be in active service in 2036 means being born between 2008 and 2018, his father is alive currently. When being viewed from American averages, his father is somewhere between 40 and 50 years old, which lines up with a young man working at IBM in the 70’s All you’d need to do, is request some kind of list of all the “Titor” surnames in the US, and find a John Titor between 16 and 6 years old 😂😂 But the problem then is, is that the grandfather worked at IBM, the father must have learned PC stuff from the grandfather, and during the birth of the internet, the father would have been in his prime, and probably, maybe would have seen time travel institute online, and have seen the story of his son, which muddies the whole thing up Can of worms containing a can of worms containing a can of worms….
