Hi
hey
Hi
iPhone probably
I have had my realme 7 pro for a little under an year now, and it's amazing! 128GB storage and 6GB RAM for $260 is absolutely shocking pricing, no? Not to mention, 64MP camera and SAmoled+ with 65 watt superdart charging.
I love realme.
They just need to work on their software.
How have the updates been?
i have a gt master edition too,its fantastic ngl....tho it does have few problems with Ui as Arun said
@@Mrwhosetheboss when I bought it, it had android 10. I now have android 11. Realme has regular security and optimization updates every 2-3 months.
@@Mrwhosetheboss on my realme 8 they are pretty good! The last two updates added like 3 extra features and the security updates are frequent as well!
Looks like Realme's reply to Samsung S21 FE. I think Xiaomi 12 put the icing on this cake, with its form factor👌🏾👌🏾
Happy new year to you Sir Eric, please can I get any form of new year gift from you 😊...much love from Lagos 🙌🏿
meh, I would rather have S21 with it's polished software and fast updates. Software is just as important as hardware and with realme software is a real issue.
@@cyril113 like arun said in another video Samsung's updates slows phone down so you'd buy their latest phones.
@@THECAR99 No.. My Note 10+ with Exynos is just as fast today as when it was released.. So either you mean some years ago or it's a regional thing depending on the chipset. And it's also recomended to do a fresh reset of the phone after a big OS update. And remember to clear system cache after some time. This keeps the phones fresh as new. Never had issues with slow down. Just when specific apps get too advanced for old hardware.
Ohh pls s21 fe will be superior realme software is not a match to one ui..and camera Samsung is miles better...

Realme: *Hold my PAPER*
they don't follow the trend, they follow their own trend. that's what makes them a good company. ( But their not original ofcs since bbk company, sharing Ideas or copy if you will )
Honestly i feel like this is gonna either go 2 ways:
1. It brings down the price of other android flagships
2. The brand’s uniqueness will disappear either due to the new competition or they will eventually rise their prices back up. (Im thinking sorta oneplus style few years of greatness then a sinking back into normality and relative anonymity)
Yep! Most likely the latter based on how we've seen OnePlus and others go

I bought the Realms X2 Pro in 2019 after watching your review and I still feel like I don't need to rush to upgrade yet & could easily wait well into next year without breaking a sweat. Was well worth the purchass
The lack of updates for that thing was depressing. It was launched with Android 9, when 10 was out for a while. So you basically only got one rather minor update from 10 to 11 for its entire lifespan.
Same here, tbh i never expected my X2 Pro will last 2 years. Still running strong. Never had bought such vfm phone in my life.
Same here ... I have realme x 2 pro
Literally typing this message from my x2 pro...... Beast indeed. I'm happy that people are aware of this underrated beast! ❤️
Yea thats old you better replace the crap...
A $750 dollar phone should never have ads. EVER. I wouldn't buy a phone with ads for a third of that price.
I found the realme X2 pro in 2019 in the USA under $500, including the extra $20 for an adapter for the plug. I wanted it for the 90Hz screen with Snapdragon 855+. The phone is STILL running like new and with no broken screen. Plus, that 65W Supervisor charger still gets me from 10% battery power to 100% in 30 minutes. I charge it once per day while I shower and brush my teeth before bed. For that price in that year, I feel like I got the best available bang for my buck. I hope realme's trend of making quality at this low price keeps up.
Bruh its only a couple years old, why are you surprised its still working
@@trignite heh, you're right. I meant to emphasize "like new", even after a couple years
I have same X2 pro from dec 2019 and it's going strong with no issues at all. I literally charge the phone everyday while brushing and bathing 😅 and it runs all day and again I charge it to 60-70% around 8pm. When I open the back cover the phone looks new, I do that once in a while to change my mind from buying new one and wasting money 😂😂.
Was there any problems with data? I'm in the US too looking for non-Samsung androids.
@@trignite most people expect cheap android phones wouldn't work properly after a year or two.
I've been using Realme X for more then 2 years and the pop up camera is still smooth as butter and the performance drop is negligible. Realme are making tanks in low-mid budgets
Yep! I don't know why haters gonna hate, but hey atleast Realme uses those hate to fuel them motivation bar up 😂
Always dare to leap no matter how silly some of their phone designs are. some are wack and some are astoundingly pleasing to look at.

You're right. Ads built into the UI are the worst trend any brand can pick up. You hear that, @Microsoft?
Yeah, it's fine in the budget phones but they should spare the flagships at least
I won't ever buy an ad phone
I have been using Realme XT for about 2 years now. I have been receiving updates regularly (late, but regular). Started with Android 9, now on Android 11, and the performance has been able to hold against plenty odds.

Although m experiencing severe lagging during editing and so, the camera is breathtaking
I'm glad realme is starting to get recognised. Back in 2020, i used to say realme is the new OnePlus. I got the realme x50 pro on 2020 and its still running smooth 💯. Such a great phone with a midrange price. It used to be so underrated back then but I'm scared it'll turn out to be like OnePlus once it gets popular
I dont really think that's gonna happen
You mean realme will be a dead brand in 10 years like Oneplus? Very likely.
@@st3yn probably yes but probably not, from the beginning, realme was supposed to counter Xiaomi's dominance, particularly starting with Realme 2 Pro, OnePlus was supposed to be strictly a rebellious flagship-killer which is probably not a good profitmaker in the long term, hence the price hike
As long as Xiaomi doesn't have a major change in their pricing strategy (which is the backbone of their whole brand) realme won't be like oneplus
It's already going that way,Look at their new midrange phones.
This phone made me feel exactly what REALME X2 PRO made me feel 2 years ago, which I still use till this day... And it still runs smooth as any last gen flagship phone, thanks to this video, I think I know what my next phone will be 😌.
Wait a bit for 6 months & they'll release a more refined one
i think they just rushed to make this phone as the first phone to use the SD 8 Gen 1 to get publicity

Been using the Realme 5 Pro for 2.5 years now. Never regretted it. We have software and security updates every 2 months. I bought the phone when it was Android 9 and now I have it upgraded to Android 11. No major issue at all. Looking forward to using it 2 years more.
Edit: My friend has the Oppo Realme 1 (their first phone), and it still works ok. He even plays Pubg and other mobile games with it aswell. It does have some battery and lag issues, but its impressive that a phone that's 4 years old can run most software tasks.

yes bro I find realme to be most practical phones in the segments.
I also had that but now using redmi note 10 pro but my mom still uses my 5 pro which works amazing
I used a realme x2 for almost 2 years. They are genuinely good for the price. But yes, the update situation is bad. They don't introduce bugs through updates, never felt like that but the updates, especially major Android updates are extremely delayed.
Apart from that, they provide a bang for your buck.
Even Nokia have non managable bugs like auto restart. Blaming Google is the right way instead of the manufacture of the phone. 😌. Bugs already been there Even your use a android One experience. 😌. Which software update by Google😅
Nokia is bad example, they were really popular 15years ago or so but nowerdays, most people see Nokia as a joke and don‘t expect much from a Nokia phone.
Yeah and the software is a bit yanky now and then. I've had some weird glitches happening over the years with camera crashes or Telegram/Whatsapp not recording audio all of a sudden.
Or that it's apparently a system wide setting now to not be able to take screenshots of everything because of privacy, didn't have that issue with my OnePlus 3T.
But besides that it's been running great since its release. Only just now noticing a bit of battery drop off after 2,25 years.
@@abdulwafi2634 lol you can't blame Google for the bugs in your phone unless your phone uses stock Android.

I've had my X3 superzoom for a little over a year now. Paid around 400€ for it. Superhappy with it,very good value for the money. Will definitely consider a Realme next time I'm buying a new phone.
I bought my realme X2 pro cause of your video about it and I ve had ir for almost 3 years now, it's incredible this sustainability of this thing. It doesn't break, it doesn't get slower, even with the already in use 240 gb of storage. This things are really good, realme is a real brand.

Realme 2019 flagship ( Realme X2 pro ) still runs smooth...... Been using it for more than 2 years now...... And Realme GT2 Pro seems a great upgrade for my current mobile.
I've gone from the Realme X2 Pro to the Samsung S20 FE 5G.
In some aspects I feel like I've downgraded as it had 12gb ram, 256gb storage, better stereo speakers, 50w fast charge 10x zoom, vapour chamber for additional cooling, 90hz refresh rate (not much difference from 120hz), better battery life, gorilla glass 5 etc. The list is endless with that phone BUT.... The Micro SD card, IP68 water and dust resistance is a must. But the most important for me is updates. Samsung never skips this part while Realme only gave me 3 with one android 11 update. Pros and cons to each but feel more secure with the Samsung and hold more value if it came to me selling it.
I also feel if I switched back to Realme I would be concerned unless they can guarantee regular patch/security updates and maybe throw in 2-3 years android updates similar to Samsung or Nokia for example.
Android 11 came out in October 2020 (I think) but Realme didn't apply this untill May 2021. I kept the phone for two years from 2019 but only one software update.
Sold the Realme phone on, made a loss but used the additional cash to put towards the Samsung S20 FE 5G.
At what price you sold it BCS there may be a possibility that I buyed from you at 16k

Ah man. The S20 FE 5G wipes the floor with alot of phone in a midrange budget. Shame about the charging speed though.
I'm really enjoying it especially the camera quality. The Realme was ok for camera but was better with the Gcam app installed. The fixed focus selfie camera on the Realme wasn't that good. A mixed bag really.
The S20 FE 5G is sort of future proofing with its 5g capability and the SD Card slot is a winner!
The latest S21 or S22 lacks afew options and is definitely NOT worth the upgrade. I'm keeping a eye out for the same S20 FE 5G with deals and want to get the wife one. The Samsung A52 seems better for her but the A53 with Samsung's chipset means they have gone backwards and lacks the performance what a Snapdragon chip can do on the A52.
So it's either S20 FE 5G or A52 for the wife if/when funds allow.
She's currently got a Realme 5 pro which has gone down the toilet twice, scratched camera lens and bungged up with alot of crap on the internal memory. So time is ticking to get her one 🤣
The one thing I wish for in a update on the Samsung FE 5G is so you can switch to auto screen refresh or switch between 60hz, 90hz, 120hz to make the battery more supreme 😎
The one thing I give hats off to Realme is the vapour cooling chamber. It's never dropped performance when getting warm while the Samsung gets alot hotter meaning I could be getting less performance.
@@user-kp9qb4it8y definitely go for a52s over the a52

This happens every year- all the Chinese phones bring basic features at the beginning of the year then when Samsung comes out w their S series they steal all the spotlight and actually provide a superior hardware and superior software experience. I am still using my OP7 Pro. Phenomenal phone with the pop up camera that I still love. Still a super fast phone and I don't think I am missing out on anything. Easily the best phone I have owned as well.
@@jaswinderarneja5772 I'm still using my OnePlus 3T
@@jaswinderarneja5772 you're missing out on 90fps gaming just like the OnePlus 8 that I use. Only games we can play 90fps are dead trigger 2 and real racing
@@Romeu_PT old OnePlus was where it's at. I still have my OnePlus one from 2014!
Realme has a mixed track record of providing updates, and it depends on the device one has.
I have a 5 pro and it has been updated to android 11 from 9 pie. But I have heard many users of other realme devices complaining about their update scenario.
Happy new year everyone!! Can't wait to see what s22 ultra has to offer!!
Still rocking my 2019 Realme X2 Pro, and only now is the battery starting to decline. It was a great buy for $500, and still had the best specs of its time. Camera is kinda crap, but I don't use it much.
Realme is the only phone brand I suggest to my friends after having one for nearly two years now.
I do the same but with Samsung.
I do the same except it’s strictly iPhone pixel or Samsung depending on what they want
“The signature kinda looks like someone wrote noob”
I laughed so hard at this line 😂😂
I mean is he wrong?
I thought this since the first pic i saw of it
I'm using Realme X2 Pro since an year and it's just an amazing phone to have! 🔥 Speed,Screen,Battery etc anything you could ask for!
Same here :)
I have realme gt 5g racing yellow variant. I really like the leather texture and the flagship experience is very awesome! The reason that I bought this is because of its 3.5mm headphone jack. But overall, Realme is really doing its job!!
I'm a proud Realme user now that Arun made a video of Realme ❤️
Mrwhosetheboss damn this is guy is just love !
Been watching this guy's content for like 4 years now
Arun thanks a lot for covering phones from not so known brands!
Let's get you to 10mil!
You had your wordplay/segue fall flat there. Just recently discovered your channel. No wonder you reached 10M. We get the REALYOU in every video.
Watching this on realme
Nice!!
Same here dude 😂
I remember I was thinkning of buying the X50 Pro 5G about 2 years ago now, but I never did, I'd classify that is their first flagship phone, or at least their first attempt at getting into the flagship market.
YES!!! FIRST VIDEO OF 2022!!!
Happy new year Arun :) Keep up the great work!
Damn, I remember I subbed to you years ago when your channel was only small. Cray growth. Must have a great agent. Kudos.
I remember the first 300k+ point phone, and now we have 1mil+ point phones. Crazy fast. RTX joining the game soon 😂
