Kinda lost some respect for him. I still like the music, especially the first 3 albums, but all his "stupid this, stupid that". "It doesn't work" - maby because the lack of acting talant? It certainly works with GWAR, and they doesn't even hide their real names and faces. "You have to be comfortable with this shit and you have to belive in this shit", - maybe he's not that comfortable and doesn't belive it enough, if he thinks it's stupid to be in character when you dress up? I'm a musician myself, always dress up on stage, and I never felt uncomfortable acting in character. Even when the band I played in was not really "my cup of tea", I tried to shape my character so I could enjoy it and act better. He's just too serious for guy in a monster costume.
Didn't the frontman for GWAR talk shit about Mr. Lordi at the time? At a professional level, I doubt many would want to work with someone talking behind your back.
