I met Kid Rock in Daytona at Bike week once standing outside a bar on Main Street. We said hey and he ended up having a beer with us. He was exactly the same way then as he is here. The man is definitely genuine.

Got to meet Kid Rock back in 2021 and he was super chill and down to earth. He left to come visit the celebration of life we were at. He didn't announce anything and just came to chill with us all. It was beyond badass.

I LOVE your optimism, but it is not the truth. "The media" is not a small group of people that can be influenced. The big money behind who makes it in the typical methods has been driving for over 50 years. Back in the 60s & 70s when they pushed the British band influence over many homeland American rock, simply telling it like it is doesn't work. I have seen him play years ago. He's extremely talented with multiple instruments and engaging with the crowd. It was totally unlike most concerts, which is the equivalent of listening to a music album. He played lots of different things.

I saw Kid Rock live and was never a huge fan, but when I saw him rotate from instrument to instrument doing solos with every instrument in the band in one song, I knew he had worked hard for the skill he had. Good on him for being real about the passports and all this BS.

Got to meet Kid Rock back in 2021 and he was super chill and down to earth.
He left to come visit the celebration of life we were at. He didn't announce anything and just came to chill with us all.
It was beyond badass.

I LOVE your optimism, but it is not the truth. "The media" is not a small group of people that can be influenced. The big money behind who makes it in the typical methods has been driving for over 50 years. Back in the 60s & 70s when they pushed the British band influence over many homeland American rock, simply telling it like it is doesn't work. As independent as most Americans like to believe we are, it's a mirage. For Kid Rock to be able to do this and survive is outstanding. I love him for it. But don't fool ourselves into believing that a few protests are gonna change Big Money influence in media, entertainment or government.
