That's Xanthus, his lore is Complicated...
So, I forgot, Xanthus is an alternative Xenophanes, and when he switches between the two, its the Universes colliding or sumthin
all starts in the universe of faker most known as EXE after so many years torturing the souls that he did he regretted all of this years torturing souls, as a last act he destroyed himself and his world taking with him other exes being one of them the XENOPHANE, that by the power that came from the faker also ended up being deleted, but something emerged out of ashes of xenophane some kind of pixel thing wich his name is "XANTHUS" he growed more and more and more until he discovery the chaos that the humans do he saw all the wars all the disasters that we caused and all the destruction that all we did and he got an extreme anger, but all HE need copied the data of another living being and ofc he choosed sonic so he goes up to sonic and offers power to him but sonic refused but it was too late xanthus didn't have time to explain and then he literally took sonic body and he now have his own body

And thus, Xanthus is literally a new False God. He doesn't think of a God, but he can certainly think like a King.
Then again, Xanthus can now go to any world to try and reign his rule .............

Since these souls are just the original guys and not demons that look like them (the original mods lore) Eggman would still have his villainous ways but Xanthus is still the leader, which is why Eggman calls him highness.
