I have no connection to Georgetown in any way, but I RUclips this team and been keeping up with them. Mac is a unique player that’s fun to watch and I’m really rooting for Coach Ewing. Patrick Ewing seems like a really good guy and I like to see good guys succeed.

I'm from Gate City. I watched this kid grow each year and turn into the amazing talent that he is today. We are so proud of Mac and can't wait for what else is to come. #WeAreGC #Devils #MacAttack

Ron Rezen not sure if he can shoot or handle like Steph but otherwise he might even have the edge on him

Ron Rezen definitely think he has a shot. Hope so, he’s great to watch

Ron Rezen haha. That’s the funniest thing I have ever heard. You think this guy can he one of the best players in the world. What are you smoking. He would get crushed in the nba

@Pops H he already is the best shooter in the nation. He has over 100 assists. His ft pct is 95 pct. He has a high IQ. You are witnessing the next Larry Bird the greatest of all time

    • @diane2193

@Pops H maybe you should listen to the video again. He is a freshman averaging almost 14 in a 40 minute game 8 minutes shy of nba. You are probably black and cant accept his greatness to come. You keep criticizing see where that gets you bruh.

Sometimes a small town like Gate City can suffocate you and make want to escape and never look back. But sometimes it can also lift you up, support you, define you and give you confidence that you can take on the world. Mac has as solid a family and community foundation behind him as any player I've ever seen. He's built his body and game up to an elite level and proved his naysayers wrong (myself included, I didn't think he'd be this impactful at the college level). I'm still not yet convinced about how his game translates to the NBA level because he's a soft 6'2" but I'd love to be proven wrong again.

zyxwut321 wow u didnt think mac cld play college ball at this level...prob shld check ur eyes for glasses prescription 🤓

zyxwut321 idk if I’d say soft but definitely small. He needs to be very good ball handler and ideally defender to find a role, I’d think. He will find how to score and can obviously finish very well.

He'll be ready for the NBA as a Junior or Senior 100%

His size may be a problem on defense. You got to play D in the NBA. Otherwise these guys on here who think he is not an outstanding player on O just have no clue. He is very hard to guard because his first step is so quick. He can blow right by a guy 6-6". But can he guard and stop those big time guards??

@@jasonterrell1563 Most people like other people who are similar racially. It's just basic kinship we all feel. Race matters pal. You can't run from who you are on a fundamental level and the perspective bias you have and others of you. Quit trying this social programming at getting people to believe these ridiculous things like "race is just skin color". Grow up.

Of course race matters. Normally Race matters more to blacks, than it does to whites.

@@jjames7771 Well put. Kinship is not racism. I'm a huge boxing fan, Mexicans pulling for the Mexican fighter, or Irish pulling for their Irish fighter, for example, doesn't make them racists. Hey, I'm Irish and I pulled for Floyd against McGregor just because Conor annoys the piss out of me so there are other factors.. Hah! Anyway, McClung is fun to watch and I'm an old Knicks fan from the Ewing days so I'm pulling for him, too, and I find myself rooting for G'town each game now.
