Haven’t explored this as a presentation method before, either with an actual physical model or a rendered model which looks like a physical model. Really like it! Thank you 👍

Thank's to you. You have a good ideas! I mean this video is gold now that we can't make physical models for the teachers! Good job! Since the quarentine begin I'm following you!
Amazing work you are doing with this channel! I would love to see your take on a section through a site in a landscape. I always struggle on this one and don't know where to begin.
This is amazing - I didn't know you can imitate a physical model so well from a render! How did you learn to work with this variety of software (and in such depth) - was it on your own, tutorials, courses, over time? Thank you!
Thanks a lot for the comment Diana! I've been really into these softwares for the past 3 years or so. I watch loads of tutorials for sure, and not only regarding architecture, but also about graphics design, photography, art in general. It really helps you improve you sense of composition and then once you learn how the software works, you can take more thoughtful decisions
Hi really find your videos really helpful. I have a lot of questions regarding final presentation for a thesis....and how to present a (research and design) thesis in architecture portfolio... Thank you
Hey Yohel! That would be fantastic! The next course I'm working is one about diagrams. Unfortunately it takes so much time to create courses. But will work on that for sure 👍😁
Hi Mohamed, as I said in the video there are many ways to do that. It's up to you how you want to do it, but it's basically drawing over the base image. You can print it and then draw on another paper on top using a light table, or use a drawing tablet, or even do it using the pen tool in photoshop
Hi felipe! The reason why I disabled before rendering is so that we could tweak later in post-production and decide how much bluriness we want. If we left it on, there's wasn't going to be a way to remove if needed. If I'm not mistaken their results are similar. That's a really good question tho!
Hi Rahul! In my opinion Revit's render engine isn't that good. From what I remember at least. But I'm sure you can get to something similar. You just gotta find the same settings I showed over this video, but in revit. I wish I could help more, but I'm not a Revit user. I'm more into Archicad, but even so I don't use its render engine either.
Hi! Can I ask how did you do the other render images you put in Photoshop? The ones you use to lighten the glass materials and others? Thank you so much! :)
Hi John! You gotta activate the render elements before the final render. If you google "render elements vray for sketchup" you should find all the info. Or I also talk about them over my Post-production course
thanks for the video!, I have a question, when you get to export the images from v-ray, you get lots of diferent ones with diferent content. And when i do it i just get the alpha channel and the render, do you know what might be happening? adn how can i get all the images that you get? thank you very much!
Hi Lucas! These images that I get alongside the main render are called Render Elements or Render Channels. It is just an option you have to enable. If you google your version of vray + sketchup + render elements you should find a quick tutorial page from chaos group that explains that. For example: Render Elements Vray 3.4 for Sketchup I hope that helps!
I'm not a SketchUp user ;( I only use Revit, but I love your videos and I'm not sure if it's possible to make the same things that you do here on Revit :(
Hi Aracelli! I don't really think Revit is the best for rendering these realistic results. But if you know how to use the software you probably can find a way to create something similar for sure! It's just that I have no idea how to use Revit's render engine 😅
I don't comment a lot,
But what you are doing here is really amazing. Please keep it up!
Thanks a lot for the feedback tony 🙏
this is so well done, thank you
please do more vray tutorials, it's hard to understand but you have explained it so well
Award winning presentations, Thanks for sharing👍🏼👍🏼
congrats! :D
I don't think I've ever learned this much from one tutorial. Thanks!

Another amazing video! I find this video is informative as in how to use V-ray. What about V-ray tutorial next? :D
That'd be great 😁 thanks!
Ótimo video, muito bom.. Parabéns !
Valeu Andre!
excellent video, but I have a problem my render sale everything in white does not see or the textures of the wood.
Thanks! It might be that you didn't change the material that goes into the "Material Override" option. It usually has a light grey as default
Love u man ,😍😍
Wow great job with this tutorial! We have a similar tutorial done in rhino on my channel too! I have much to learn but maybe we can collab sometime?
Damn man, what u r doing is really great. Thanks a lot!
Thanks! I appreciate your feedback 🙏😁
If you’re still looking for what to do to celebrate I think maybe a full project tutorial would be nice! Like in parts
Alright! It seems like a great idea indeed. Thanks Pablo!
100k mais do que merecido! 🎉

Thanks! But my Spanish skills are very limited 😅
@@LearnUpstairs te voy a apoyar igual ♡
how do you get the material library for vray 3.4
Hey man great tutorial.. But why my VRAY Next does not have Zdepth from camera option? It has only the near and far options.
How about a second post production course Oliver? Different contex,t maybe night time at an urban place :)
Hey Yohel! That would be fantastic! The next course I'm working is one about diagrams. Unfortunately it takes so much time to create courses. But will work on that for sure 👍😁
Sir how did you make white arrows , sunpath etc......
Hi Mohamed, as I said in the video there are many ways to do that. It's up to you how you want to do it, but it's basically drawing over the base image. You can print it and then draw on another paper on top using a light table, or use a drawing tablet, or even do it using the pen tool in photoshop
Great wotk
great video! Could you maybe do a tutorial on Sketch Up? I really have problems getting into it.
For sure, Parvis! I'll add it to the list, thanks for the suggestion
How did you make the sphere light into face?
Why didn't you use vray deep of field? I saw that you disabled it before rendering started
Hi felipe! The reason why I disabled before rendering is so that we could tweak later in post-production and decide how much bluriness we want. If we left it on, there's wasn't going to be a way to remove if needed. If I'm not mistaken their results are similar. That's a really good question tho!
Great!!!
is there a vismat for vray 2 for sketchup that you know of that could be used to get as amazing effect as you did? ;)
Hi So So, I'm not sure about vray 2. I'm sorry 😅
But you could always create one from scratch. Maybe even look at the website poliigon
Are you able to do this in Revit as well as sketchup? Or do you have to move Revit files into sketchup for this to work?
Hi Rahul! In my opinion Revit's render engine isn't that good. From what I remember at least.

What vray version is this?
Yea. Q&A sounds right! That's something you haven't done, right?
Yeah, haven't done a video q&a yet! But it sure does sounds right at 100k 😅
@@LearnUpstairs A free resource would also be good. 😅 If not, atleast a giveaway(s). 💯
Qual a versão do V-ray que você usa?
I don’t know why but I cannot find any material in my library. It also doesn’t even have this segregation of materials. Pls tell me what’s the issue
Muito obrigado por legendar

Can i know what spec of cpu that u use? I need some of spec for cpu rendering.
Hi Syazwa! I use a laptop with these specs:
i7 9750H
RTX 2060
16gb ram
256 gb ssd + 1 tb hd
I just downloaded V-Ray, and I can't find Render Elements where they're supposed to be... Did they just removed them?
Found them in "create a new asset", hope it works just like yours
Hey Ivan! Yes, they changed the position from vray 3.4, 3.6 to vray next.
It will work exactly how it's supposed to. Cheers!
thanks for the video!,

Hi there! I use a laptop with: i7 9750H, RTX 2060, 16gb of ram and 256gb ssd + 1tb hd

Definitely! I'm just not sure if there's an option to get the ZDepth channel
