I really recommend you watch the movie, it is spectacular as a manga/anime adaptation to live action, something that is very difficult to do these days. I loved the movie and I hope that whoever watches this video also liked it. The film is faithful to the manga. I hope it has a sequel. The actings are good and the CGI is highly well done. I don't know why there are not many people talking about it...it's a nice movie :)

Know that it is difficult to find a black Japanese actress in Japan and who looks like the character.
The actress chosen for the film is amazing and I recommend you see the film for yourself before complaining about her.😉

This is one of the few live action movie adapted from the anime. They actually did the character's design right but
atleast they didn't make a Blackface version of Krone

Theres a few black actors in japan so idk why they couldn't get 1 & even if they couldn't get them, this design is way off. Why is krone short & fat. She was fit & tall. Bunch of those women in japan wouldve been better
Among all the choices, Naomi Watanabe was the one who best fit the character. There's no point in choosing an actor who looks like the character, but can't act or pass the character's vibe. And she does it beautifully in the film

I'm happy they choose a Japanese woman to depict her Instead of failing to find a black woman and it becoming a little derogatory in the depiction in live action better to stay safe than sorry
