A shorter version of this should unironically be a Berserk opening. Particularly during the Black Swordsman and Lost Children portions, where Guts was indeed a Beast in Black.

I saw a comment that claims the orchestrals "clash" with the base track and I have not a single clue where they are getting that from. 17 years of musical training, blessed with being able to hear intonation on all levels, and more.
Not one point, not one single point "clashed" to my ears and if anything, made an already epic song, evolve into an entity of its own right. This doesn't clash, this...is a goddamn masterpiece.
This sounds more cluttered than “epic.” The orchestra noticeably clashes with the base song in numerous spots.
I understand, maybe it's more about the mix, knowing that the base song is not supposed to have a full orchestra in addition, it's difficult to make everything stand out. Where does it clash the most for you ?
