Bashy is a legend, you might say he is the Class of Deja, it doesn't go much further back in the grime chronicles. Unfortunately there isn't a huge back catalogue but it's great to see him back smashing it! I would recommend reacting to the early clash with him and Ghetts in Peckham, it's one of the early internet viral moments of Grime. Ghett's famously lost it a bit and started shouting 'ASK CARLOSS I WAS A BADBOY IN JAIL'. Ghetts has referenced it since in his more recent music.
Great thing about this track is they distort the vocal slightly so it almost sounds like pirate radio back in the day

My comments are late and might sound recycled from all the rest though iv not read any but if you know you know, US hiphop was the majority for me back in the 90’s but then being british the gun thing and the same old gangbang the naked women got boring un-relatable apart from pac biggie they had a wider message Wu tang always have a message and red & meth 👌🏼a little em usually his diss tracks just make you wanna jig but couldn’t sit n chill to Em a goat his word play is genius but not chilling music you gotta listen, so switched to uk garage totally almost where these guys came from then followed them as I can relate to what they saying being british being in some of the same situations I think it’s more realistic well the older grime artists are not the wild young grime/drill artist they push sh17. And the bixtch’s,guns,gold,cars of US hiphop got boring.it hits more it’s the real everyday life for most in the uk from south to north but it’s a vibe seeing intelligent Americans understanding and enjoying something outside America iv noticed online many think another state is a country it baffles me but yeah great reactions I appreciate your take on things open minds not narrow 👌🏼
