I just finished it today! It is always sad when I finish any of his books. I never want them to end. Everyone of his books has been "his best" after a complete it. The Last Chairlift holds true to my reading experience. Funny how a long book seems like the blink of an eye. Hence, John Irving is the best author to fill my eyes and own my heart.

I loved all these characters and watching their lives sprawled out for me using Irving’s sublime narrative style was an absolute joy. Totally agree with your assessment!
