Chad visited our good friends at Golf Performance Project (www.thegolfproject.ca) to get fitted for the brand-new Titleist GT drivers. 20 yards is actually crazy, even if his old driver is 6 years old!

I got the gt2 7x black velocore +.. it’s stupid straight and long enough .. I’m hitting. 70-80% if fairways since the change from the cally ai smoke TD

what was your fairway% with the callaway?
@@Jeebizz101 50% .. I chose accuracy over length , the TD has the stupid long ball but the misses are deadly

Now I’m just a Keyboard expert, but he averaged 1.40 efficiency and had 3 balls in the 30’s with the setup he went home with. He’s definitely not optimized! Without re-watching to confirm I don’t think he hit above 1.45 with any club. And quad can sometimes give you 1.51 To me he either needs a different head “brand” or a shorter shaft to find center face. Maybe I’m way off??
Wasn’t swinging great all day. The last setup was super accurate and not really missing fairways. Had two or three big misses that weren’t taken out which lowered ball speeds. Also these heads just look way better to me than others.
As another keyboard expert here, there’s a lot of early body extension and excess side bend to try and compensate for it which gets on the low heel, or if he didn’t bend enough he’ll get it on the toe. Needs to work on staying in posture, even swinging slower would prob help this guy

@@ParWars_Golf Talking about Chad :) the GT3 definitely is a hotter driver compared to the TSR3. For me it's a toss up in terms of distance between the AiS TD on average but on centered strikes I think the GT3 got a little bit more carry. I chose the Cally because for my swing the dispersion was way tighter and I was OK giving up 5-8 yards on perfect hits
@@danielphang4221 the gt3 is a overall hotter driver than gt2 but my dispersion is a lot tighter with the gt2 and only gave up 3 yards for more fairways
Which driver are you going to game with so? GT2 or 3?
Leaning to the gt2 combo. Just so forgiving and accurate
