I cant believe I am.watching this video. Two night ago me and my fiance were making a fake silencer for his bb gun and he had to use super glue anyways I was just about to make super and heard him call my name so i came running to the rescue to try save his hand , as I was trying to save his hand and pull it free the super glue went flying right for my eyeball . And I started screaming in pain and running around the house trying to find somewhere to soak my eye as my fiance is chasing after me with fingers stuck to glue still . We managed.to soak my eye for a while and get most glue off but has been in pain now for the past 3 days and is scratchy when I blink . I mys say I'm happy to still have a eye and I'm sorry for my bad grammar and spelling have a wonderful day
@@amanda-uu3so no I didnt it's better now thank god !!! . But was 6 days of healing I'm still having blurred vision and tiny bit but it's coming back . It was mainly just super painful and traumatizing .

Hello to anyone who it concerns, mine has cleared up after a day. I only kept rinsing my eyes at intervals continually. Keeping it wide open then I fell asleep woke up rinsed my eyes again and slept for the night, then by the next morning I wasn't feeling the irritations again. Just a bit blurred vision but it's clearing up now. Thank you

My Mom told me to pull her nail that way something can come out (I forget what) but then unexpectedly the superglue from under her nail or something came flying towards my face and got into both of my eyes. My glued eye brought me to this video,now im sitting trying to figure it out what can i do without panicking.I was trying to open the super glue with that tiny needle that comes from the box then this happens to me,it splash all over my fingers and came until to my eye ball.I can still see clearly but its irritating my eye its like theres dirt inside.
I had super glue in my eye and it was the worst feeling for me. What really happened is my eyelashes was somehow glued stuck underneath my eyelid and boy oh boy it was painful especially every time I blinked.
the worse thing then super glue in the eye is super hot glue in the eye...... I never got in these scenarios, but hot glue in the eye can actually cause burn in the eyes(well obviously) your eye is a sensitive part so if hot glue gets in there, well I dont know what to tell you at that point. All I know after hot glue in the eye can permanently damage your eye sight.
This happened to me 3 days ago, literally one of the most painful things that has ever happened to me, and i've kicked off toenails and split fingernails before. Luckily i rushed over to the sink and flushed it for 30 minutes straight away, then went to the hospital and got some of that sweet sweet morphine. Then they peeled off the glue on my eyelid and lashes, that was scratching my eye. So this 3:48 is 100% wrong. Absolutely flush your eye out with running warm water, that's literally what it also states on the super glue bottles lol

How long does the eye need to heal post getting affected? Been a week, went to the emergency and ophthalmologist day after, said my vision hasn't been affected and to keep using eye drops. Yet now my eye lids are still inflamed and get very dry. How long does it take for it to start clearing?
Should only take days, but I am not a medical professional. Definitely check in with doctors/optometrist/ophthalmologist - your vision is not worth risking!
@@Exoticbarbie. I had to go to the walk in clinic and they gave me a gel. The healing process i would say up to three weeks post incident. My eyes have gotten a lot better, but sometimes I still feel sensitivity, especially when closing my eyes to go to sleep. Just going to continue to monitor. I hope you feel better too!

That’s rough! Definitely go to a doctor if it’s scratchy when you blink, you might need to have some treatment
