It's a shame. Whenever he makes a statement and gets pushback he just readjusts his statement and plows forward instead of acknowledging the fact that his statements/opinions are not based in facts. The problem with conspiracies is that so many people eventually fall in love with this “easy” explanation for all the chaos in the world and refuse to accept that there’s a whole lot more nuisance to everything. There are a few conspiracies that have turned out to be true, but there's a far greater number, the vast majority, that are just major oversimplification of a very complex issue.

Destiny’s friendship with Sneako has always been so strange to me. Sneako is constantly saying ridiculous things but Destiny always treats him with kid gloves. I think what most people are missing about Sneako is the fact, his entire career and entity is resting on creating this persona. Including that last clip is so telling, and encouraging. Sneako is trying to act confident, but you can tell the harder-hitting points (like, "you can just google where the 6M numbers come from, so not doing that is sus") are getting through to him, even if he doesn't explicitly realize it. He's feeling uncertainty and it's cracking his facade of confidence, and wants validation from his chat to prop him up.
No one claimed it is 6 million "No more no less." Research showed that it is no less but quite possibly more than that number. In recent years there were many additional smaller camps found that people didn't know about. The fact that he presents "counting corpses" as the source for the number of victims shows that he has done ZERO research on the holocaust and how we know anything we know about it.
I think Destiny is making a really salient point there at the end: if Sneako actually cared to know the answer, he would know it. Even if he wanted to dispute the methods of inquiry, that would require him to _know_ and _understand_ them. The truth is that he doesn’t care, and that is what makes him a bad person.
I actually did the 5 minute Google search about how the Holocaust estimates were arrived at. There's a wealth of information available, including a whole bunch of primary German sources that the Nazis didn't destroy. It's very telling that Sneako is so sure nobody can know, yet he doesn't know why people believe they do know.
That was my first thought when he kept saying that question. I was like, why aren't you looking up how they arrived at that number. They didn't pull it out of hat, also it's not exactly 6 million on the dot. I was so happy when Destiny finally got to the point as to why he really doesn't care.

IMO this is the biggest problem with censoring these ideas. Because they are absolutely wrong, and the evidence is there, but they hear something new and there's not actually that much information out there countering it. So they feel like they've found something NEW and hidden and perhaps some secrete knowledge. It makes you feel like you know something other people don't know. So then it can be really really hard to pull someone off this secret knowledge they believe they've found.

I think what most people are missing about Sneako is the fact, his entire career and entity is resting on creating this persona. Including that last clip is so telling, and encouraging. Sneako is trying to act confident, but you can tell the harder-hitting points (like, "you can just google where the 6M numbers come from, so not doing that is sus") are getting through to him, even if he doesn't explicitly realize it. He's feeling uncertainty and it's cracking his facade of confidence, and wants validation from his chat to prop him up.
No one claimed it is 6 million "No more no less." Research showed that it is no less but quite possibly more than that number. In recent years there were many additional smaller camps found that people didn't know about. The fact that he presents "counting corpses" as the source for the number of victims shows that he has done ZERO research on the holocaust and how we know anything we know about it.
I think Destiny is making a really salient point there at the end: if Sneako actually cared to know the answer, he would know it. Even if he wanted to dispute the methods of inquiry, that would require him to _know_ and _understand_ them. The truth is that he doesn’t care, and that is what makes him a bad person.
I actually did the 5 minute Google search about how the Holocaust estimates were arrived at. There's a wealth of information available, including a whole bunch of primary German sources that the Nazis didn't destroy. It's very telling that Sneako is so sure nobody can know, yet he doesn't know why people believe they do know.
That was my first thought when he kept saying that question. I was like, why aren't you looking up how they arrived at that number. They didn't pull it out of hat, also it's not exactly 6 million on the dot. I was so happy when Destiny finally got to the point as to why he really doesn't care.

honestly man, I'm not a Destiny fan, (and I'm growing farther away from Hasan) but mother of God I would never wanna debate him. Dude really slams logic home, over and over. The period from about maybe 6:00 to 6:20 was wild, watching Sneako being confronted and having to really think about things. I really think Sneako needs people like Destiny in his life. I used to hate this dude, (Sneako) but it's refreshing to see a back and forth that wasn't malicious, like this. It just reinforces that we are indeed human at the end of the day, but the way we approach each other is so goddamn skewed now, because of years of social media exchanges and this binary "us v them" approach for everything.
