Was doing parent teacher interviews this week and had to stop one of them in the middle when I recognized her sweatshirt! Totally took us both off track to discuss what is happening on your farm. Then I recognized the look on the child’s face that said ‘They are talking about other stuff. Arggggg,’ Thank you for giving a connection for two ladies in a farm community on the other side of the country.
The farm is just beautiful this time of year. Your trees are turning color, and the sky is crystal clear blue! Nothing dull about your scenery or your life. 💖
I wonder if Ruby Sue is taking advantage of the sunshine to stay warm. Without her body fat she probably gets cold pretty easily, the warm sunshine probably feels good.
The footage of the outdoors is stunning. I love to watch the harvesting. How lucky you are to wake up to such beautiful surroundings every day. The fall foliage is gorgeous. Thank you as always for sharing your journey.
I feel like she’s just got a fat pack there- she’s got some good weight on her- plus babies- all on a bad shoulder- so I feel like that her main issue. I totally see how it could be seen as an abscess though!
I was thinking the same thing. Elderly people’s temperature regulation is decreased, I would assume that animals are the same. Sitting in the sun helps her keep warm. The barn is probably a little cold for her. I wonder if at night she snuggles up close to the other sheep.
I loved seeing how well Kinsey and Piper worked together with your commands when you were separating moms and babies. Piper wants to be a sheep dog so badly! lol
Sandi, your lambs never cease to amaze me. They are born looking like floppy, wet noodles, then minutes later they are doing the drunk lamb walk, trying to nurse from mama. Now, 6-7 weeks later, these tiny lambs are almost as tall as said mama's. Your videos show the wonder of nature. Thank you for your informative, most times with some humor, and fun videos and for giving us some of your precious time. So glad that I stumbled on your channel 2 months ago. 🐑🥰
Please don't apologize for some of the monotony of farming. I like hanging out in the tractor with you, as I'm sure many, many, many of the rest of your viewer fans do. Your life is so varied, with all the things you do on any given day, week, month, and season. I love your reactions to the various challenges and opportunities to show how "fun" water infiltration due to nibbling lambs or pungent dogs are. You are awesome! ♥️
Well, it might not have been what Sandi wanted to deal with this week but it does prove the water-plug-protector frame does work - so as a proof of concept, it was a success 🤷♀️
Sandi, you betetr be wearing a back brace! Pita has mellowed and softened since becoming a Mom, her inching closer for pettin's was so sweet! And it's nice to see Ruby Sue was brighter, her ears up and how she was happy to see Carissa, coming to play with her fingers. I know we all are going to see her brighter then crashing a bit, back and forth for a while. Ruby Sue will have "bad days" possibly feeling the weather more deeply in her body, and sometimes fo no reason at all, she'll be tired, or she'll be happily munching hay or grazing with the other Golden Girls. We can only enjoy her while she's with us, sadly. 💔🐑
I don’t know why but seeing the barn light up just gave me the sudden nostalgia for Christmas 🎄. I hope you keep the tradition going of decorating in the barn ❤
Sandi, watching your videos brings me happiness and peace to my soul! It's kinda like Sandi's here and all is right with the world! Keep on being you, momma bear! Love to all! ❤❤❤❤
I am so happy you noticed the swollen part on the lamb that is limping. I was not 100% sure if it was or not. I was hoping for an abscess so it would be an easy fix.
Piper the Sheep Beagle makes me laugh! I have watched talented Shetland Sheepdogs and Pembroke Welsh Corgis the same size as she is, really do commendable jobs moving livestock, so it’s not the size of the dog. Kinsey has an unusual apprentice! ❤️🐑
Wow! Still photos of the sheep, lambs and the farm would make great puzzles to sell as your merch Sandi! We love puzzles especially in the winter months! Keep that in mind for next year! ❤
Today I learned a piece of what makes me happy. After my morning animal chores I sit down to see what’s new on RUclips. When I see this channel and hear those birds and lambs in that opening I get so full of joy. It’s such a familiar and comforting thing. Thank u Sandi for continuing to share. Life is tough enough and these little bits of joy r helpful.
Welcome Back Charissa (sorry if I completely misspelled your name!) Hope you had a wonderful time in TN! Sandi, you never cease to amaze me how early you get up and how much you get done in a day! Sending hugs to you all from California!!
Thanks Sandi for another video. It's great to see Clarissa and glad she had a good little vacation at Nashville. It's exciting to see you guys clearing the corn fields before bad weather sits in.
I get so excited to see your posts Sandi, I have an even deeper appreciation for my local farmers as I watch them in their fields, seeding, spraying, and reaping. I understand what they're doing, thanks to you and Mark ❤ from Bristol, Wisconsin ❤
Sandi, I just have say thank for everything do. I have been watching you for a while and due the nursery rhythm baa baa black sheep my one told granddaughter now likes to sit down with me a watch your videos. I hope you realise how much joy bring to us all. Love from the uk ❤❤
Your corn is pretty much as ours has been,DRY, which is blessing. ( Remember schitt creek)Got to count our blessings because we had years where the drier has run non-stop for days. We have one small field left and are done. YAY!!!!!!! Then we start helping neighbors that need the help. Mamas look good and the children are figuring it out in the lamb barn. Poor Ruby Sue she is a fighter but sadly its battle that we know she can't win. Saying 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 for her. Have a great weekend Brock family 🌽🌾🐑🐑🐑
Another fantastic video. Glad your partner in crime is back and had a good time. I liked you in the dark. You looked beautiful as usual. Hoping that sheep being treated hangs in there. Crops are doing great. Have a good one
Thank you Sandi for another week in your life , i appreciate what you with showing us your homely routine of family and farming life,i do love outdoor life but it doesn't agree with me. So thank you for sharing. Cant wait for the next one.
Hello, I'm currently in the hospital. I've been in here since mid-September. I've been intubated twice ( the first time was because I arrived in a near dead state, and the second time was because I died for 2 minutes). I don't remember much, but while waiting to have the breathing and feeding tubes removed, there were a few things that gave me hope and helped ease my sorrow. Thinking about when Willow was a baby and how she followed you around the barn helped a lot. You have been a light and distraction for me. More than anything, I want to go home, but that's not going to happen any time soon (maybe December). Your videos help bring warmth to this depressing place (Ontario hospitals all look alike, so you know what I mean). BTW, it started as lower back pain for me, and I kept getting weaker and weaker, and then everything escalated more than I could have ever imagined. Please take care of yourself. Thank you for everything. ❤️
Father God, please place Your Healing Hands on this child of Yours, may MeepMeepFergie be blessed and completely healed with no side effects, In Your Majestic Name, Jesus, Amen
Sandy you do a lot of lifting heavy stuff. Maybe you shoulf ware a back support. From one who jus had back surgery i don't want you to go through what I did.
My Tucker is kinda like Ruby Sue... he had FIP We watched him go from playing and being a 10 month old kitten...he lasted 2 months after the diagnosis but, he lost all body weight.. was emancipated...praying for Ruby Sue
I'm so happy to see Ruby Sue is still with us! I know I'm going to be absolutely heartbroken when her time comes...💔😭 I'm glad you and Mark are getting the corn done. I'm sure that is a huge relief! I was going to ask you if the ewe that's not doing well is the same one that had the big abcess up front that either you or Rex had to lance and drain a couple of years ago. Maybe that could be why she's not doing so well. Im super happy weaning went so well for you and Carissa. They seem to be doing good. I'm sorry the sheep chewed the plug out of the water, but I'm glad it dried up quickly. Piper was so cute protecting you from the mean old neighbor...lol She's so cute! I hope your back is doing better! I've been praying for you! 🙏🏻 Stay blessed! I love you guys so very very much!!! 💖🥰❤️🤗🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
When a sheep is down on her knees, isn't that a sign of hood rot or something nasty like that? I agree, Ruby Sue is probably standing in the sun to warm her old bones up😊❤❤❤
If you mean the ewe Sandi separated... We do know she got her leg caught in a fence pretty badly. Can that be caused by a leg injury or come after one? Or she could be on her knees just from the shoulder/leg injury?
Looking at swelling in the chest of that sore-shoulder ewe ... I don’t know sheep ills, but those exact symptoms in a horse would be a case of “pigeon-breast” caused by a fairly nasty infection that forms a large abscess in the breast.
So about Piper ....... I originally thought that since she is Jess' dog that when Jess went back to school she would go with her, but maybe not since school/where she lives might not allow it. Then the cancer diagnose and both of them lived at home. And Piper became a farm dog. Since this is Jesse's last school year will Piper be moving along with her? At this point Piper is obviously a family dog, loves her sheep, loves Kinsey, is so active which is healthy for her and just loves her life on the farm! Hope that's where she stays and gets to see her mama Jess when she comes home. Piper is such a doll, although occasionally very stinky!! 😂❤❤
Do you/could you give Ruby Sue Medicam? I was just thinking she is probably in a lot of pain, and maybe that would help her to live out her days more peacefully. (?)
Great video, Sandi. Instead of rotating the feeders in the lamb barn, could you modify your down spouts? That would be easier on your back and save time when doing a clean out.
Your videos take me back to visiting family farms in Alberta and B.C. Only one is still in the family. The rest have been sold. They held such happy experiences. I feel the same joy watching your program.

What a fun connection 😁
That's the right kind of parent teacher connection!❤
I love this story. ❤

Maybe ruby just likes to be out in the sun to warm her old bones up xx love and blessings to you all from England 🇬🇧 uk xx ❤
I was thinking the same thing. Elderly people’s temperature regulation is decreased, I would assume that animals are the same. Sitting in the sun helps her keep warm. The barn is probably a little cold for her. I wonder if at night she snuggles up close to the other sheep.
That makes sense. My old cats always traveled with the sun spots
She might benefit from a sort of dog coat or maybe a heat lamp.
I love lounging in the sunshine too. Audio book going.
I’m 50 next week and feel exactly what you are saying. Unfortunately we haven’t had those days this year have we 😢
Just what i needed.....sheep therapy. As our election south of your border looms and my stress esculates, a calmer time out is just what i need.
❤
Sheep therapy helps. Most of us are just as worried.🇨🇦
Hope the election turns out to be beneficial to the country neighbour. Alberta
I loved seeing how well Kinsey and Piper worked together with your commands when you were separating moms and babies. Piper wants to be a sheep dog so badly! lol

I agree
Agree also it's part of farming I miss being on the farm so much

On my side of the camera, the sheep and the chores associated with them, never get old. I' m sure it's different for you and Carissa.
We get to watch all that work being done, from the comfort of my long room!
Farmers and Fall are the best. They both feed our souls, minds, and bodies. Thanks for letting us live life with you. Sincerely, all the shut ins.
Oh noo the sheep and slide waterpark hit again!
Just came back from my work rotation and was able to see my new yarn. It's absolutely wonderful! Can't wait to crochet a lap blanket with it!! Thanks
You make such good videos! The shots, the editing, and the story line is so well done! ❤ 😊
I am so happy you noticed the swollen part on the lamb that is limping. I was not 100% sure if it was or not. I was hoping for an abscess so it would be an easy fix.
Sitting in the sunshine here. Watching Sandi and the Girls!! Best day ever!!
🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞It's going to be 63'F today 10/26/2024 here in Spokane WA. In this date last year we had 5" of snow on the ground😢
I think that the warmth from the sun makes Ruby Sue feel better.
Sandi thanks for the new video and update on Ruby Sue
Piper the Sheep Beagle makes me laugh! I have watched talented Shetland Sheepdogs and Pembroke Welsh Corgis the same size as she is, really do commendable jobs moving livestock, so it’s not the size of the dog. Kinsey has an unusual apprentice! ❤️🐑
A photo of your trees would make a great puzzle
Wow! Still photos of the sheep, lambs and the farm would make great puzzles to sell as your merch Sandi! We love puzzles especially in the winter months! Keep that in mind for next year! ❤
The new logo with the Golden girl Angle’s over the barn would be so cool as a puzzle

Thank you for always supporting local in SW Ontario! Love many of the same vendors you do and hope to be able to support your shop in the future ☺️
Welcome Back Charissa (sorry if I completely misspelled your name!) Hope you had a wonderful time in TN!

Just Thank you! You keep me going and I can't express how grateful I am for you sharing with us.
My most relaxing time! Sandi and her sheep! You bring so many of us such happiness Sandi, thank you ❤❤
Sweet sweet Ruby Sue ♥️♥️♥️😢. Great video Sandi. 🤗🇨🇦Ontario ♥️
Sandi, is always doing something around the farm. So much to do. Keep caring for your back.
Stay well, love from Mike. ❤
I find the ewes pretttty fast seem to enjoy being free from burly babies almost knocking them over to feed. 🌞🍹🥂🏝️
Oh i do look forward to seeing you and the sheep. Its so interesting to watch you xxx
Glad that harvest is going so well.
You are a farmer, dirt on the face kinda goes with it. I didn't even notice until you mentioned it.
Welcome back Carissa !

I thought her brisket was swollen on the last video but it was just a glance.😢 I hope you get her through
A perfect Saturday treat!!! Thank you Sandi!!
All your content in all your videos is wonderful. I look forward to the days I see your name pop up.
It's interesting to see how the foliage changes daily around the field edges. Such beautiful colors!
I look forward to your videos !!! You are an inspiration to me. Please take care of yourself. Love from South Carolina, USA.
Another fantastic video. Glad your partner in crime is back and had a good time. I liked you in the dark. You looked beautiful as usual. Hoping that sheep being treated hangs in there. Crops are doing great. Have a good one
Fall is so beautiful in Ontario! I do miss it and fall fairs, farmer's markets and the Royal , since I moved back home to Newfoundland in 2005. ❤
Everything comes to a halt when a new Sandi video shows up. Almost burned breakfast. Thank you Sandi.
It a Happy Sandi Day ! 🎃🍁💚🙃
Thank you Sandi for another week in your life , i appreciate what you with showing us your homely routine of family and farming life,i do love outdoor life but it doesn't agree with me. So thank you for sharing. Cant wait for the next one.
Listen to the weaned lambs shouting "Mom! Mom? Mo-o-o-o-om?!" 😊
Always a great video. Thanks 😊🐑
Every time she stumbles, I flinch. 😢
Best wishes for Ruby Sue❤
The puppy in the harvester will keep me happy for days.
I love watching you while I have my morning coffee! Best timing ever!
I'm taking a break from my school work to enjoy the wonderful Brock Family! You guys are amazing!
Can you ask Rex about the swollen chest thing and send him a picture? I’m sure we all would be interested in what he has to say about that.
Agree, I've wondered about that myself the last few videos.
Good morning from Southern California. Watching you while eating my breakfast. Have a great day. Love your posts. TY🙋♀️🥰
Saturday with Sandi! ☕️❤️🐑🐑
Preggos starting to look a little preggo... iiih! Can't wait!!
Great! I just finished watching my political RUclipsrs.
Happy weekend to you and yours Sandi.😊
I hope you keep Pita Junior! She is so cute.

Best birthday ever a Sandi video to watch on this beautiful Colorado mountain morning it’s not even snowing yet 🥰
Love them fall colors. 😊
We all love you guys! Thanks!

If that water leaves a stain will your sheep think that is a black hole when you move them around
I'm so happy to see Ruby Sue is still with us! I know I'm going to be absolutely heartbroken when her time comes...💔😭 I'm glad you and Mark are getting the corn done. I'm sure that is a huge relief! I was never bored with you! lol I was enjoying the view in the background of the autumn colors! Love your replacement trainee, very attentive 😅

The inside clear/white dome light on your tractor seems to be directly over the top of your head😂😂😂❤❤❤ 32:50
AH! I love getting new videos first thing in the morning!
Even in the dark we can see your amazing smile!
Looking at swelling in the chest of that sore-shoulder ewe ... I don’t know sheep ills, but those exact symptoms in a horse would be a case of “pigeon-breast” caused by a fairly nasty infection that forms a large abscess in the breast.
I love Piper she is quite the farm dog 😂❤

well at least your life isnt boring. they are smart little boogers.
Piper is really liking tractor rides.😂❤
Good morning beautiful!!!!
I noticed the swollen brisket on that ewe a few videos ago but being I'm not a sheep farmer, I thought I was seeing things!
Do you/could you give Ruby Sue Medicam?
I was just thinking she is probably in a lot of pain, and maybe that would help her to live out her days more peacefully. (?)
Boy the newly weaned lambs are a good looking group.
Maybe put a couple bottle babies in with the others ,marked to stand out and they can teach the new ones how to use the water feeder
I was checking the comments before I texted this exact thought. I’m wondering? 🤔🤔
Harvest is such a beautiful thing. So sad how many Americans and Canadians have no idea what farmers do for us all.
Yippy no matter what I feel inside you ALWAYS brighten my day THANK YOU 💜✝️💜
Hubby says that you should start selling calendars? Maybe ? 🎃🍁💚🙃
Great video, Sandi. Instead of rotating the feeders in the lamb barn, could you modify your down spouts? That would be easier on your back and save time when doing a clean out.
Ruby Sue likes to sun bathe❤
I was watching another channel and just loved that other fans suggested that she watch your channel to lean about sheep. We all love you so much❤❤❤❤
I noticed that as well ! Wow I night be a lamb person some day 😂😂😂😂😂😂I am 75 …slim chance
Watching Piper with the other dog...sorry forgot name haha...she follows every lead...it's so adorable!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 she will do fine ! Alert ANd ready to protect your…Goood 🐶
I noticed that lame ewe's swollen chest right away before you said something. Poor baby
Your videos take me back to visiting family farms in Alberta and B.C. Only one is still in the family. The rest have been sold. They held such happy experiences. I feel the same joy watching your program.
Love finding a video from you on Saturday! Hope you got your field done today.
Straw is slippery ESPECIALLY if it’s fresh ! 🎃🍁💚🙃
