Huh...there was something different about this video. I'm not sure what it was. Maybe it the shock of seeing Cody dethrone the boiled linseed oil. Maybe it was seeing the Milwaukee tools in the DeWalt work box. It was a different vibe. It was a LITTLE vibe...but it was a Cute and nice vibe. Can't wait to see more.

    Hey Cody.
The reason for the trim on the outside side of the siding is to allow for expansion. Especially with cedar expansion can be huge. Also remember your windows and sliding door will expand and contract

    Cody & Family,
I have been a subscriber for many years now and have enjoyed the evolution of Wranglerstar. However, I’m thrown for a loop with this video as you now seem to have a new beautiful baby . I waited until the end in hopes for an explanation but it never came. I know you don’t owe your viewers any information and I respect your privacy. My point here is to only point out that as viewers and subscribers we have become invested in your life and your family. We have watched you grow as a person and homesteader and Jack become a young adult. So I ask you, please do fill us in about the new baby. I can’t help but feel a little hurt that we weren’t privy to this wonderful news.

Don't be embarrassed about the unfinished projects around the house, most of us in the trades are in no position to criticize!
For your corner boards and trim around the windows and doors: Use the 7/8" thick rough-sawn cedar, and rip some 1/4" plywood into 3/4" wide furring strips. If you have a 1/4" crown stapler, staple them flush to the edges of your corners and trim on the back side. Cheaper and less labor and waste than re-sawing 2X. A neat caulk job will cover the joint nicely.

Hello Wranglerstar family!! I’ve been really enjoying your videos for the past year or so, ever since I began hatchet shopping. It’s nice to see y’all using a masticating juicer!!! I never liked vegetables much, but after my wife to be was diagnosed with colon cancer a year ago, we decided to buy a masticating juicer. A little tip, for Mr. Wranglerstar, adding a lemon and a knuckle of fresh ginger, will make it much easier on your taste buds. Anyway, my fiancé calls your channel, the modern “this old house”, I call it just plain old entertaining education. Thanks for the content Wranglerstar fam.

Juice tip...... juice a whole lemon with your juice and it really takes the edge off the vegetables, pretty much gets rid of it and makes it taste more like juice. A while lemon seems like it would be overpowering or make it taste “lemony” but it wont.

Cody, I must say that I really appreciate you showing where you called your dad for advice on the siding. Generally speaking, you always seem to have all the requisite knowledge for a project and it's refreshing to see a moment where you're reaching out for help on something that you may not be entirely certain on. I think it's important to show moments like these because one of the things I've learned in life is that there's never a situation where you shouldn't feel comfortable reaching out for advice. Another thing I noticed is that the expression on your face when you were listening to your dad was very similar to how Jack looks when he's listening to you. Perhaps I've had poor awareness of how similar you look but that was probably one of the moments where I can see him in you and you in him. It was a very human moment that I can really appreciate. Just thought I would share. God Bless

Cody, I juice as well and find that it's the carrot really gets me if not balanced by enough sweet. I do a 4 carrots, 4 oranges, and 3 small beats and that works pretty well. As far as green juice, I make this about every day: 1 red apple, 1 green apple, 4 celery stalks, 1 large cucumber, an inch chuck of ginger, and a bunch of kale is not bade. I also find that drinking them over ice really makes it taste better.

Cody, don't put the apple seeds into the juicer. I don't know how much moisture the juicer gets out of the seeds, but apple seeds contain Arsenic. From what I know, Arsenic can build up in the system over time. If I am wrong, then great. If not, be careful. Easier to just cut out the core and then no worries.

Best juicer is the X1 Mini Juice Press by GoodNature. Juicing doesn’t replace eating instead you are able to increase the nutrients your body needs to repair itself. And using your own Back To Eden mineral dense veggies makes an incredible difference. Thanks.

Hahahaha, I am 100% totally and completely with you on the veggies man. I love some cooked corn, green beans, bags of frozen mixed veggies and stuff like that but all the rest are hideously foul tasting to the point that my stomach wants an immediate exit. I'm generally not a picky eater at all and even love cans of smoked oysters and other things many people find disgusting like braunschweiger. So many veggies are just horrific. It doesn't even register as food. It seems so unnatural to try and eat them. I always keep trying and my body just doesn't agree with them as a food source. Glad to see the misses and the baby are bright and cheery.

It was nice to hear Dee just as you opened the door before you liked the table. Hope you're all doing well. TkEZ»UK
