  • Smoked deviled eggs are FANTASTIC and scream family get together. With the holidays coming up, let me show you a recipe that will make your grandmother mad at you...since they will be better than hers!
    Ingredients
    8 eggs
    6 slices bacon
    8 tsp mayonnaise
    3 tbs Wickle Pickle Relish
    2 tbs dijon mustard
2 tsp ‪@KosmosQ‬ Dirty Bird Sriracha
2 tsp ‪@TXBrewandBarbecue‬ Screamin Yard Bird
    Instructions
Preheat your ‪@MonumentGrills‬ 86030 Pellet Grill to 350°F
Place your eggs on the second shelf and cook for 30 minutes.
Remove from the cooker and immediately place in a bowl of ice water.
    Cook the bacon until crispy.
    Transfer to a paper towel.
    Turn the grill off.
After cooling the eggs for 15-20 minutes, peel the eggs.
When the grill has cooled enough to turn off, flip the switch back to the “on” position, but do not press start.
Place a cold smoking tube, filled with your favorite pellets, on the bottom grate and light with a torch.
This will allow the smoke to circulate, without creating any significant heat. Cold smoke the eggs for forty-five minutes.
While the eggs are cold smoking, dice up four to five slices of bacon and set aside.
Mix together relish, mustard, screamin yard bird rub, bacon, and mayo in a bowl and refrigerate after.
Remove the eggs from the cooker. Slice in half, lengthwise. Remove the yolks and add them to the bowl of hot relish mixture.
Mix all the ingredients together until you have a semi-chunky mixture.
Take a spoon and place the mixture back into the eggs.
Garnish the tops of each deviled egg with a torn piece of the reserved bacon.
Dust with the Sriracha Dirty Bird and serve!
These eggs bring some incredible flavor with a hint of heat on the backend. They will be a HUGE hit at your next family gathering and elevates your grilling game to a WHOLE NOTHA LEVEL!

This might be the best comment I’ve ever seen in my entire RUclips career.

How long did you put them on the smoker? That info is really helpful

I mentioned it in the video, both times. 20-25 mins for the hard boiled and then cold smoked for 40-45 mins. Thanks for watching! This was a tasty recipe.

What kind of pellet flavor did you use? Looks really good! And I would have had to make 3 dozen or so! Lol

I used hickory on this. Lite enough to still give it a smoky flavor. lol. Thanks for watching! It is a HIT at my thanksgiving family meal.

Looks good. My only ? Is if you were going to give them a smoke bath anyway wouldn't it be more efficient to just boil them?

That’s a solid question, I just wanted to do smoke the whole way, but you can certainly do that! Thanks for watching!

Do you vacuum out the ash? Like if I smoke for several hours let’s say 5-6 hours will the ash build up and cause any issues?

    • @GrillMarkCo
      @GrillMarkCo  Год назад

Great question! I am a little OCD about cleaning out my grill, so yes, I vacuum it out after every cook. I’ve seen too many videos where people don’t clean it out and it causes so many issues. I’ve had pellet grills for 3 years and have never had a misfire, misfeed, or anything else remotely close to an issue.
You don’t have to be like me, but cleaning it out every few cooks and minimizing the ash, especially in the burn pot which is where a lot of issues can come from, is always a good idea.

How does this video only have 17 comments after a year? Gonna finally try smoking some eggs on my Kettle next weekend.

It's different....but you sure are burning a lot of pellets. I think it is better to boil first then peel then put on smoker for only 30 minutes. Conserving the biggest expense....pellets. ;^]

      @GrillMarkCo  11 месяцев назад +1

You’re probably right but I didn’t burn through that much for it. The pellets I use are $8 a bag. Pitboss brand. But I defiantly think your way would also work. I did it mainly for the channel. Thanks for watching and for the tip!

Hey everyone has their mayo hill they die on. Dukes is in this house. Blue plate is good. Hellmans works. But I think we can ALL agree miracle whip is the worst. 😂😂

@GrillMarkCo that's fine, I don't understand why people rave about it like it's something special. It's basic garbage mayo with soybean oil, what is so impressive about it?

I can see your point. I wouldn’t do that if I were feeding friends and family or just myself like in the video, but I defiantly see your point. Thanks for watching!

Yeah. You don’t have to follow it exactly like the video. All that matters is how it tastes. But you’re right. We all make mistakes.
