We have new mid war starters and its on the eastern front this time. And what could be better than that? A starter set with not only infantry but lots of them.
Welcome to this sort of unboxing/ review/ how to play/ battle report using just the stalingrad starter set.
In the box you have a massive hero soviet infantry battalion with two companies anti tank guns and supported by some cute mini tanks.
The Germans have a panzergrenadier company with two platoons, tank hunters and rocket artillery.

@@valleygamingfowmesbgswlGerman. 2 yrs ago I was introduced to the game. I started with german kamfgruppe first. Buying everything I could. I have American so I can have 2 opposing forces in my collection.
I always aim to have two armies to drag friends and family into the game

There is always the remote method but wouldn't be the same
good intro vid for new players well done. nice to see encouragement for new players to start the game.
Not being critical as i really enjoy your vids but when you fired at the soviet infantry near the church i noticed that they did not get the plus 1 to hit for being concealed. They should have been 4s to hit as although they fired they are still classed as concealed as they did not move. The rules state only infantry that moved are not classed as concealed. apparently shooting does not remove the concealment only the gone to ground additional +1. Its on page 53 concealed by flat terrain.
Like I said not being critical but thought you may have just missed that keep up the good work.

It's surprising after the years of playing the things you pick up that have been in the rules all this time lol
I don't understand why you crippled the Soviets by giving them an anti-tank company against a list that had no armor in it, and that was 10% more points. If you'd given the Soviets artillery it would have been a much more reasonable matchup.
That's just what is in the starter set. Definitely agree on having artillery but thr soviet mid war artillery is green so actually getting the. To range in would be something lol
