OMG you broke me again! It breaks my heart that Connie wanted to leave but as they said in the interview there was no reasonable storyline where she would leave Deacon and her girls.
No their isn't. Rayna would never leave deacon or her girls and its not like the whole family can move away. So death was the only option but they did that beautifully! Whole season 5 was very well done. So special.
Rayna came back for the finale so in my mind, I have just decided to pretend that she was in witness protection/in a coma/trapped in a cult OR any other ridiculous reason etc etc and she finally found the way back to her family at the end like she is supposed to & nobody, I mean nobody can take that happy ending from me. 😂 They deserve to be a family dammit! Deacon deserves to have a happily ever after with Rayna, especially after all they’ve endured to be together and ALL the lost years where they should have been with each other! 🙄 Not to mention the most important bond of all, Rayna and her daughters. I mean they desperately need their mother and are both too young to have to survive without a real maternal influence. That’s why I’m choosing to believe my alternate ending. ❤️

This is beautiful! i am so upset about nashville.. killing Rayna was a HUGE mistake! Cant continue watching without her.
