Just finished the game. When this finally played during the El Torre de Leon sequence, the bloodlust on killing all the Castillo Special Forces was sooo satisfying. VIVA LIBERTAD!
Thanks for releasing this. There's some nice sweetening here, like the cellos at the very end (sweet!), and actual reverb tails where they'd be truncated at cuts in-game. I do miss some content that was present in the battle but not here, like the spot where the brass drops out it's just rhythmic strings and drums. I also find that this mix is a bit too compressed. There was more dynamic range in-game. While 2m38s is nice and short to introduce the theme without overdoing it, I'd like a longer version. This is one tune where getting into the groove and staying there really pays off, rather than quickly hitting a climax and ending it. This is an easy tune to get obsessed with!
There are some negative things about this game, and many are true, but in all of FC games we didn't had this much power, influence and effect. And actually a face to be shown. Most of FC main characters were some sort of victims and losers, they were not that Effective and Influential at all. From FC 3 until this one, we were victims in the game, real victims, FC 3 we mostly flee or die, in FC 4 we are bounced between two maniacs and their empty dreams, in FC 5 we are practically an object for some to shit on us and drug us(Joseph and his siblings), I hated the amount of powerlessness that I had in these games, This is the first one that we can do some badass shit in the game, kill and end some dictators. PS: FC 1 and 2 are ancient history, I don't remember them, sorry. PS2: FC games really need to work more on its protagonists.
J'aurai tellement aimé que vous preniez plus soin de ce jeu. Il aurait eu le potentiel d'être un excellent jeu, mais vous l'avez bâclé. Comme toujours en fait ..
