I'm in my 50s and didn't even ride a motorbike until I moved to Paraguay. But as you said, you need a plan b in case your car breaks down and you are waiting forever for the parts to arrive. So I bought a new Kenton and learned how to drive with the help of youtube. I like it.
Thanks Adam! Front camera gives the nicest information! Please add this to a Paraguay-by-MC Playlist as this is a very nice way to get to know some of the infrastructure of Paraguay from our PCs before we come!
That was a great road trip eyes all around you with dogs and kids around but a very relaxed smooth ride with great music thanks for sharing. You’ll need a side cart for Brenda lol
B loves jumping on the back. I haven't seen any side carts though! The dogs are funny here. They generally don't get hassled so they're very chilled. Also, they generally make good decisions when crossing the road. I know you know, animals pick up on the vibe that's around them.
Hey Adam, good video! I'm glad you got your bike. I was surprised how smooth the video was when you were riding over those famous cobble roads. I felt like we were back there again. You will have to take us on more road trips soon. Chau!
The driving video is such an awesome format Honestly if you recorded your trips with these groovy tracks playing id be sucked in every time a new ones uploaded. I cant wait to get down there
Good to see you on 2 wheels. I decided over the past few weeks that I'll bring my Tiger 900 when I come to Paraguay. It should serve as a good machine to discover a good slice of LATAM.
So in rayong province in Thailand,I have just spent 7 months there most of the locals have moto bikes with a side car,if you google motobike with side car ban phe Thailand the images come up ,every morning I do a 8 km power walk down the beach road and every time I see the old boy with his motorbike and sidecar shop,he is 83,with out fail he is there 06.00 any time, keep the videos coming please
How much money they charge you to repair the pump and injectors. Here in Pakistan I am diesel pump and injector mechanic and want to move to Paraguay cuidad del este and make my workshop there. And setup my business any advice. What is life and income of a mechanic there? ❤
Sorry, I don't know what they charge for that but I can say if you have solid mechanical skills you could do well here I believe. Life for a good mechanic could be very good.
Dangerous. One fall can finish you. I just broke my collar bone and wrist... Again. I'm 67 and a fitter, stronger, guy then our friend here. But I'm not going to get to many more chances, so it's 4 wheels or 2 legs from now on. Edit, both times the helmet saved me from a very much worse injury.
67 and fitter and stronger huh. Ok, just for fun, how about you post how many pushups you can do in 1 cycle, I'll do the same. Care to make a bet while we're at it?

I was told Kentons are the best. Oh well, I have settle for the Star.
Guys, where's the best place in Asuncion to rent or buy a half decent bike? Seems like yamaha vmax or its equivalent are non existent there.

Glad you liked it. I was thinking about a bike playlist also. Good idea.

Thanks for that. We'll try to do some more. The tricky bit is finding the cool music. It took me hours to find those tunes!

That will definately get you around a bit quicker than my egg beater.

Great topic! Thanks for the scenery and accompanying background music. Did losing Google Maps connection result from the overcast sky?
No overcast sky, it's common around here for GM's to lose you. One of the many reasons I love Paraguay.
Well… that settles it….
I’m getting one.
There you go, it's contagious. Every man needs 150cc of beast mode power.
👌👌👌
Cheers!

Is it a peaceful country ? What's the law and order situation ? Thanks.
Hi, I have a question. How easy owould it be for me to sell a foreign plated motorcycle in Paraguay?
Is it difficult to get a bike licence in Paraguy?
No, it's easy.
