    i really appreciate this video
    such a wholesome energy of just a simple man really enjoying his purpose in his music and journey but then also showcasing the darkness and dangers of Melbourne and what can take hold of you so very easily if you don't keep your wits about you
    the artistic shot with the two guys talking over his passed out body is classic, and weirdly makes me proud to be Australian because it feels like a dystopian movie set in Australia, especially with the bumper of the car with the lights on and vicco number plate, getting a mad max vibe
    great tune the chorus is just absolute fire
    I hope the the main character is well and continues to find the joy in creating music

    • @flos7254
      @flos7254 2 года назад +4

      @@sideshowfrost Not tone deaf, it just sounds like a whole different track haha, mainly cuz it's a rewrite (not remix my bad) and i guess the point of that is that the artist can use elements of the track and re order and use them as they want. So i did a little side to side comparison and this is what i got:
      - The 3 vocal lines that are sampled (timestamps for the original song): "in my own reality" at 1:12 (that is almost a backing track as its not the main vocal part in the section and i also think the bass used before the frase was used in the same order) the "whoo" at 3:34 and (i think it says this) "almost" at the beginning of the rewrite but i didn't catch where it was from
      - The bass at 3:54 (original song) was used as the main instrument for the beat in the 1st section of the song and I'm guessing mixed it with Cavs drum parts
      - The second section of the rewrite is from the 4:19 (original) to almost the ending
