Awesome. I mostly learned by watching you and all the other big names in the late 2000s videos on slow mo as well as the tutorials by Big Milan, but this is definitely the most comprehensive video on the basics. I hope this can inspire a new generation of shufflers with how easy but fun shuffling is! Rock on
Im new to the rave scene in Australia and me standing there pumping my fist in the air just wasn’t enough so Im learning to pick up this Melbourne shuffle style and I must say it will probably be my best party trick been so inspired by others
Do you have tips on how to do the running man faster while still looking smooth? Like to hardstyle(150 bpm). I can only keep up with techno, house, bass house but never to hardstyle. It's just too fast.
Oh you young kids. 150 fast? Happy Hardcore (real techno) 180-200bpm. Chasers nightclub, Chapel street Melbourne late 90's - so no - you can't keep up with techno.
@@apebrain1819 I'll never understand the whole internet mindset of just being an ass and missing out on the opportunity to really contribute to a cool community
At higher BPM, you need to learn how to properly deal with your weight balance and how to move the weight from a leg to another. The problem with learning running man from vids is that you do not know how to manage this. An exercise that i recommend is trying to jump fast, on your toes, with your foot flat as possible(like jump rope). Try to accommodate songs that have 140 bpm, and just try to jump. Your jump height should be small. When you are comfortable, you can try running man with those little jumps. At first it will look rough, but exercise and it will come. Dont give up, just practice!
You have been an inspiration as a teenager in from Japan to the US man 🙏🏻 so happy to have found this RUclips channel of yours! Looking forward to posting progress 🙏🏻
My man , i grew up watching all the videos i could find on youtube in that time of you , and the rest . Such a trip to see you grown up and still doing this so clean lol . YOU and the rest have made me love hardstyle so much .
Thanks you! i am learning. i did a little bit jumpstyle when i was around 16 years old. now im 33 and i want to learn this. its an amazing dance. and the music is often amanzing good too :D
Bro how do you make it look so smooth🥴 my running man is still basic and I'm doing my best to make it go with Hardstyle and it's a lot harder than I thought too fast🙃
How did it go? I was super uncoordinated and some how just put time into it and learned this back in highschool for no reason. I couldn’t even dance but I could bust this move on rare occasions and blow people away🤣
Nobody knows about Melbourne shuffle here in Canada. I'm gonna learn this style and make a routine with "Exploration of Space" by Cosmic Gate. Then imma perform it at the dance studio, it's gonna be so fun!
This is actually amazing! Such a clear and concise tutorial! Do you have any tips on stride length? I have a lot of trouble telling how far my feet should be apart during the running man.
Hey Bryce in terms of stride length, go with what you're comfortable with. If you want a detailed tip msg me on Instagram @francisvo27 ! Thank you im glad you found the tutorial helpful!!
Sup francis! Nice to see a tutorial out by you, been watching your videos since i saw your part in compilation 3, took me 13 years but i finally started learning myself, your tutorial will definitly help with that! Always wondered tho, do you still have the phat pants and amnesia hoodie? Would love to see a video of you shuffle in them, also curious were you guys got your phat pants from back in the day, i know heatwave is a well known name but i dont know if you and the oldskool generation also bought them there.
being a true upstairs neighbors tryna learn this rn

I tried it with socks on and it felt like a lot of work and well socks made it slippery
If you can learn to Shuffle in your socks, you can do it in your shoes
This is one of the hardest ways to learn how to shoofle, esp on tiles with socks. Floorboards and socks is also challenging
Thanks

Is that the Skytree in the background??
You have a keen eye my friend. I shot this tutorial when I was in Japan 3 years agooooo
My neighbor upstairs is about to be mad AF bUt I could care less. Come at me bro
You can show them how it's done!
Is there a difference between hardstyle and Melbourne shuffle
Yes, hardstyle is a genre of music, the Melbourne shuffle is a style of shuffling (dancing)
but what is the name of that second song???
goat
What is the name brand of the shoes you have on?
Louis Vuitton but I wouldn't recommend dancing in these shoes as they are mega uncomfy
If you visit my instagram @francisvoxo I have a post with shoe recommendations for shuffling!
🧨💣👌
Name of second song?
how to get faster when shuffling?
Exposure therapy to the faster BPMS
So basically normal shuffle with more agression :3
Basically
Do you know the name of this song?
Technogym - the kgbs , you can follow me on Instagram @francisvo27 I've got more videos, tips and tutorials there!
name of song pls 😩?^_^ love this song since the age of 15 xD thank you in Advance 😄
i was trying to shuffle barfoot and thats soooo hard
take care of your feet! Dance in shoesssss
Can’t wait to get cooked and try this
This is the energy we need for 2021 👌
Looking forward it to brother
That's running man, not Melbourne. look at videos from 2005-2010
Never got into Melbourne shuffle, but I could tell this isn't due to the distinct lack of wonka wear and hat and crotch grabbing moves.
You forget that this is a tutorial to get you started.
my guy this is FRANCIS, I think he would know what Melbourne shuffle is. Running man is the absolute basics of shuffling
Francis is one of the best shuffles in the world lmao, he's literally showing the absolute basics in this video
Running man is not part of the Melbourne Shuffle. It got introduced years later. Melbourne Shuffle is much better without the running man.
@@CASJ25 not in your world clearly 🤪
@@francisvoxoIt seems like you are too young. You probably were born in the early 2000s.
This is not aus style
you are right, it is however a melbourne shuffle tutorial
