The gatekeeping price for the Haldor’s Hold expansion for Valheim is wild! It’s about a $50 difference from the Deluxe and Collector’s pledge. There isn’t enough in the expansion to justify that price. I’ve played the PC version and it was a lot of fun. For the board game, even though the scenarios/missions may be different, it seems like there will be a general loop of crafting the same items over and over again. That may get dull.
Big difference with the DC deck builder is the past one the Kickstarter edition box was part of the lowest pledge, for the Arkham one, it’s on the 250$ pledge, I’m definitely skeptical about buying the base version with that in mind
the tree/shade/light mechanic was i think first done by Waldschattenspiel which used an actual burning candle LOL, found it at a thrift store, this was released as shadows in the forest, still makes me laugh that a candle with a real flame was an idea for a board game.
Valheim and Deep Rock were both published by Coffee Stain so makes sense that MOOD would do that after DRG. Valheim the pc game is or at least has been more popular than deep rock so we shall see who rises!
You should make a video covering boss battlers since so many have popped up in recent years such as blood, grimcoven, leviathan wilds, astro knights eternity etc.
Valheim looks great, and very much looks like my kind of game. Unfortunately, they ran the campaign way too close to the Heroes of Might and Magic III campaign, and especially with those being similar styles of game, Valheim is losing out for me. I played a ton of the HOMM3 video game, and haven't played Valheim yet (but I want to), so since the HOMM3 IP is currently more dear to me than Valheim, and it started/ended earlier, I'll have to wait for a possible reprint for Valheim.
I wish you’d included Hedge Mage again- it’s running another 18 days and is 75% to the funding goal. Looks fantastic, bummed it’s not looking like it’ll fund.
Dude. You're set up is freaking gorgeous.

The pc game was awesome. Excited to see if the boardgame can live up to it and if the builder theme works 😊

story of many is amazing!!!
I have ordered good choice
If I had a nickel for every DC based crowdfunding campaign offering a Two Face coin this year.... I'd take a chisel to one side of each nickel.
You’ve totally skipped over Quest Snakes … they’re killing it! A lot of love went into it and I can’t wait to get my copy ❤ 🐍
Pro tip: set the video speed to 0,75x so as non native english speaker you can keep up with the speed that he talks.
Yeah.. Im almost out of breath listening and that is sad because the video is interesting
Great tip, I am a native English speaker and I struggle with the talking speed.

Quote of the video: "I kinda want a big spoon, but I don't need a random big spoon." Indeed!
I mean it's true..
