2:03 shows no coolant temp. To be honest I can't remember if i had it running at all before the video. I know if it even a little cool out it won't start easy.
hi andy,, got a question,,or two,, so my new to me 806 has a knock down low ,,took the pan off ,,found #1 rod bearing ,not spun but loose on the crank,,no aparent damage to jornal ,,cap ,, rod,,or wrist pin,,, but ,,,alot of copper showing on bearing . so ,iam (very cheap) thinking ill try oversize bearing ,,,plastigauge ,,,and see how big to go ,,it all ready had a 0.010 over. crazy or sly???
I'd see if you get a micrometer to measure some stuff, maybe you could get by with new standard size bearings. Do also plastigauge though before the final assembly.
question two stupid one maybe ,,,doing an oil change while im working on the 806 ,,,took the filter cans off ,,expecting them to be full of oil ,,the way they hang there ,,,but really not that much in them ,,,,i had drained pan two days earlier,,,but how would the oil get up outta there,,,,,,. i had checked the valve train while running it before inspecting the bottom half so i could see it was getting plenty of oil ,,,,just curious how that oil could siphon outa there. Is this normal ???
That's nice it has the 56 series shift
andy ,,like the videos keep em coming,,,,i just bought a wheatland a month ago,,
that started nice,,,,,,had it been warmed up,,,,

Would this be the same on a 706?
caseih shows same part number gas/diesel 706/806. probably many others but that's all I looked up
Do you have any plans with this 806 or leaving stock?
rusty shacklfurd as in what?
Turbo or other upgrades of that sort
it made it this long without a turbo
I would like to find a nice wide front for it
I have a nice wide front off a 1456, I acualy have 2, the extra one I was selling for 1000 but of you could give me 750 I would do it

I'm not sure on that, this is my first 806 and I haven't even changed my engine oil yet. Sorry
