In Australia we install 12v sirrocco fans. They work a treat. We have 3 fitted into our caravan. However there is no way that Id not have aircon for the really hot days.
We can imagine it gets very hot in Australia, can we ask how you get on running your aircon off-grid or are you on EHU for the times you run the aircon? Thanks 😊
@@lifes4touring Us personally would check into a powered site in a CP however those doing the big lap of Aus continuously are running about 1200 solar and 600 lithium batteries minimal. The siroccos do work well. We have 1 in the lounge dining area and one each side of the bed. Loving your channel. Really enjoy the comparisons of Euro vanning to Aus vanning
Have stopped there the last 4 years summer / winter but never gone to town so it was nice to see, its our normal fuel and supermarket stop [ Carrafour ] thank you .
Had the same problem as you with the fresh water dump .i hit it coming of the boat from the top level ramp .i had stick all ,mastic gun ect with me on your advice .fixed it on a site ,did a great job then same thing happened coming of the boat from cherbourg. So my friend is making new brackets out of stainless steel and i will move it back beside the black water waste pump .attached to the chassis not the floor underneat .
Another good video guys. Thanks for sharing. With two days before we board the Plymouth to Santander Ferry, we are planning to stop at Zaragoza in about two weeks time on our way between San Sebastian and Denia, so good to see what to expect. We'll only have a day, so it will have to be a quick visit with some serious power walking. Look forward to seeing your next update. Deb and Dave T - Cornwall & Beyond
Hi both and thank you 😊 Exciting times for you both with just a couple of day to go until the adventures begin 🙌 You will enjoy Zaragoza it's a great stop and to get around it you will definitely need your power walking boots on 🤣 but it doesn’t matter how much you see as sometimes it's nice to leave some for a return trip down the line 😊 Have a great trip and happy travels 😊
Hi, this is the big question as we seem to get it wrong every time 🤣 However saying that the standard UK one works in lots of places but they can vary from place to place so best to have a few, some smaller and some larger threads than the UK standard. The worst case is to have a collapsible watering can with you just in case as we do and if really needed we would use that as some don't have threads. Hope this helps and enjoy your adventure, happy travels 😊
Instead of air conditioning may I suggest a Maxfan at the back sucking air out and leave the roof heki open at the ftont. We were in Rome earlier this year with tempsnof 40°C but using what I suggest we quickly got the inside of the van down to a comfortable temp. I also used 2 of the fans shown in hour vlog which worked very well. Haveca lookbat Reds go travels you tube channel because Redders has a vlog on hus set up. Enjoy yourselves.
Hi and thank you 😊 Maxifans are great, we use our omlivent which does the same just not as powerful in our opinion 👍 We also find as long as you're pushing the air through it works great as it does for the Reds. Happy travels 😊
Hope you’re feeling better soon you definitely don’t sound your normal bubbly self. We loved Zaragoza when we went there just realised it’s been 10 years since we went and after saying we must go back. I like the fans.
Hi, thank you Jodie is on the mend and will soon be back to her bubbly self in no time 😊 Zaragoza is well worth a revisit and with a free park up and services next to the tram just makes it easy to see the sights. Fans are great. Happy travels 😊
@@barrieathey1822 Use an electric extractor fan to draw cooler air up thru a vent in the floor and out thru the roof. Of course if u arrive on a red hot tarmac parkup it's a doubtful method however if you can park on grass and have enough water to water the grass area it"ll be cooler for while at least.
Poor you Jodie, awful when you're unwell, but hopefully on the mend now. Do you get hot flushes too, I'm a ball of sweat just standing doing nothing 😮 Looks a pretty little place with it's history!! Have a great weekend both! Xx Dawn & Jay 🥰🍷🍺🏴🏴
Thank you so much. Jodie is now on the mend and thankfully we don’t believe it was Covid as Lee didn’t get any symptoms. However, you are right in that it's here and now part of life so we have to keep going 👍
Hi, we like the hose as normally it's an easier refill of water however always bring a watering can for the times a hose doesn't work out, we just found it easier to move on this time and fill at our next destination. Happy travels 😊

Hi, it can be a pain and like you, we will be moving it back to the grey waste area. Hopefully, this will resolve the issue 👍

Thank you so much Paul & Lin, Jodie is feeling more herself now 😊
Hope you feel better soon Jodie just wandering how far behind you are on your vlogs ❤
Hi, Jodie is on the mend and we are now in Alicante so a few vlogs behind 👍
Any idea what hose pipe adapters are most common in Spain??? So we can buy them please - heading to Spain in February 😊

I carry a watering can as well for those moments when there’s a queue or haven’t got the fight connecter
The Jerrycan can be a godsend, thankfully it was easy to just top up at the next destination. 👍

I can’t believe you didn’t speck or fit air con before 🥵🥵🥵I would die.
Not everyone gets aircon fitted and we are still alive 😊👍
@@lifes4touring Thing is if your touring in Europe in hot climates it’s a must, you have said it’s too hot inside the van hardly surprising.👍

Hi and thank you 😊 Jodie is on the mend so hopefully back to herself soon. It was a great City with plenty to explore. Happy travels 😊
I live in Australia 🇦🇺 and you never get used to the heat.
We can imagine it can get very hot over there in Australia 🇦🇺 One day we hope to do some adventures there too 😊 Happy travels
@@grahamwakefield4180 I agree I think we are in for a long hot dry one in SA. 1st week in Spring and 32 degrees today.
Hope u will soon feel better terrible to think but covid is still around . We just have to learn to live with it 😪

We never use a hose unless it's provided, watering can does the job

if you are feeling unwell get to pharmacy tell them your problem and they will help you anywhere in spain
Thank you 😊
You think someone would have lent you a hose
That would of been nice 👍
