Always love seeing your Victober tbr! I know exactly what you mean about getting carried away. It's precisely the kind of literature I'm in the mood for at this time of year.
@ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged I loved Lady Audley's Secret, I hope you do too. I've just picked up The Mill on the Floss, I heard it's a good Autumn read so hopefully will get to that soon aswell. I think your TBR sounds lovely 😊
I am reading Dracula for form. When I flipped through it, I noticed what looks like letters which would make it somewhat epistolary in form. I had decided to read it this October last October when I finished Frankenstein. It’s nice that it fits in with Victober.
@amyschmelzer6445 Dracula is a great choice for form, it was my first thought for that prompt, but wanted to avoid re-reads this year. I hope you love it! 🧛♂️ 🦇
"I just get carried away" is the story of my Victober tbrs. National Theatre at home has at least one Victorian play available at the moment, London Assurance by Dion Boucicault.
@@zombieprincess82 I have a list but it's hopelessly over optimistic. 'Rhys Lewis, Minister of Bethel' - religious prompt is probably where I'll start. It will depend upon what I'm enjoying.
Autobiography of a Flea sounds very fun! I'm always intrigued by the "underbelly" of victorian literature. I'll add it to my post-victober TBR!
This is the first I'm hearing of Victober. Very fun. LOVE Victorian literature. Currently reading Dracula
It's such a lovely reading month. I really enjoyed Dracula, perfect for spooky season :)
Hello! Just found your channel this morning, I'm subscribing and looking forward to catching up on your past videos and new ones to come 😊
@cynthiaespinoza4514 that's lovely, thank you so much for watching! 😊
Great library you have. Plenty there to keep you busy. Best wishes with what you read and to your channel.
@ReadingIDEAS.-uz9xk thank you 😊
Hooray for Victober! Sorry about the cold. You're absolutely right about it being the perfect time of year for atmosphere.
I have always been prone to colds, it's a nuisance. Gives me an excuse for lots of cups of tea and reading time though :) thank you for watching!

Thank you. It's going to be such a lovely, cosy month :)
Good choices! Enjoy 😊
@@katiejlumsden thank you 😊
I don’t follow the prompts but I’ll be reading The Mill on the Floss, Mary Barton and Lady Audley’s Secret!

@@scallydandlingaboutthebook2711 oh lovely, will try to check that out 😊
Your choice for the 'form prompt' sounds ideal for the prompt.
It certainly looks interesting! Are you planning on reading anything special for Victober?
