Kirk is good for the regular season, I think his 2nd test will be how he performs in post-season. What kinda energy does he put out and where is his will to win.

@monolith2001 that's where leadership comes in. This is as much a test for Raheem Morris as it is for Kirk Cousins. Leadership is the art of influence, and at the end of the day Raheem Morris and Zack Robinson are going to be judged on what they can get out of Kirk on the Feild and in the locker room. They wouldn't have paid him 100 million if they didn't think there was something there.

Pressure on Kirk to perform for sure but that ain't a bad thing at all. If we winning, no one gives a crap about what we paid Kirk. If we not winning (because of Kirk), we should be looking to the future and we aren't doing the ride with Heineke and desperate next draft or overpaying for a FA in 2025 with a QB class that could be more like 2021/2022 than 2023.
The players are already liking what they see in Kirk at the few days of practice they've had.

No no, Kirk was th perfect hire for the falcons. He’s proven to be able to get the most out of skill players , and they have talent that couldn’t be utilized by Qbd before him. They want to see what they really have in London and Pitts etc. he’ll play all year

So it must be Mahomes' fault that the Chiefs lost the 2018 AFC championship game...even though.....Mahomes got the Chiefs into field goal range which sent the game to overtime. After winning the overtime coin toss, the Chiefs’ defense failed to stop New England who drove 75 yards for the game-winning touchdown. Mahomes never saw the ball again, the Chiefs lost 37-31 and were eliminated. “Mahomes (or any quarterback) has no control over his defense losing the game as he can only control what the offense does”. That’s why a quarterback’s win-loss record doesn’t really mean anything.
