Fun facts for this mv: the cake is a reference to one of their song Strawberry Cake. But also @shlenn filled me in that the Korean title is Songyeon Manhwa (k-version of Shōnen Manga, a genre mostly for young boys, hence the english translation of boy comics) and a common trope in high school settings in manhwas is "the race for the cake" where students will rush to the cafeteria on the rare days they offer cake at lunch break and will even fight each other just to get a slice.
I keep and will consistently recommend their live performance of Money On My Mind from their concert! It’s a song from their last album.
The “Open Beta” is gonna be a string of singles that they will be releasing every month for a while, a project that Boy Comics kickstarted. They released their full album Troubleshooting about a month and a half ago.
Wait a minute! Are you serious? They are gonna release a song every freaking month? How is it that I am a villain and I do not know this? When and where did they said that? How do you know? But how , how, how!!!

@@Lunessi hi! You mean the pink poster? With experiment project? But I thought that meant that something is coming up every month in term of concerts! They did the first beta 3 in a row concert plus the university one and now one with day6 + 3 days beta concert in a row in July + 2 American concerts. But why do you think it means a song release? I would love that but I do not want to have my hope high and then boom… thanks for letting me know in advance
For live performances, you HAVE to check out their performance of Pluto for NPOP, it's so good it gives me chills every time. Theyve also been posting performances from the concert series they did leading up to the release of Troubleshooting, I think you'll love Money On My Mind and Night Of The Fireworks, also No Matter.
They do have a lightstick! It actually looks (at least to me) like the stage from their Test Me MV, and it lights up pink and blue like Gaon's cotton candy hair from that era. In the middle is a big XH with a V on the back (for Villains, the fans). It's soooooo pretty 🥰

It took me quite a while until I got that they always use these programming references. For album titles, now these singley, and a current concert series. Very clever.

Thanks for reacting this. They are so talened group. Their recent album, troubleshooting, was really good. They compose and write their own songs. And their vocals are so talented. They are true musician.
Btw, the Open Beta is their new project. They're going to release a new single every month at least until September. They're gonna do showcases and concerts for presenting the new songs each time. This is the first one! The full comeback was Closed Beta 6.0, this is Open Beta 6.1, next solo is Open Beta 6.2 and will release on 7th July. Hope it's understandable!
May I suggest for a good live performance Money on my Mind or their cover of The Black Parade. Also, Strawberry Cake on live is soooo good.
