LMFAO bro Fr it’s to me it’s sad these kids learning this shit from tiktok but atleast they finally hearing it still remember when this first dropped Kanye had the world in his hands
I never understood this, what’s the issue with people learning about music from TikTok? The only reason I could see someone having a problem with this is if the music is underground and they’d like to keep it that way. But Ye is far past that point? I mean stronger even became certified diamond last year so like what difference does it make if people learn about it through TikTok
@@opps5927 why is it an issue though? Why is it sad? If anything it’s sad our generation is gatekeeping music from the younger guys, meanwhile the previous generation was open to sharing their music. Previous generations would have dreamed to be able to share music with such ease, and to such younger audiences, meanwhile you gatekeep shit. I don’t like tiktok but I do like the fact that it can share masterpieces that people who are younger haven’t heard. Who cares how they found out about the song, it shouldn’t matter
I feel like people think they’re more intelligent or more of a free thinker if they insist the original is far superior to the more well known (typically) remixed version. I believe Jeff buckley’s hallelujah (and even pentatonix’s version, don’t kill me) is better than Leonard cohen’s. It doesn’t take away from the original creator, the artist who did the remixed version would have never been able to make it without the original. And artists will always find ways to try and improve on something. But the hard part is creating it in the first place so the original singer should always be given their props and credit. However there are many instances that the remix is better, and people refuse to admit it and even look down on or mock people who like the remix. I like kanye’s version better actually hear. Daft punk’s version is way too fast for me and I think Kanye places more emphasis on the beat and flow of the song. I’m not specifically just talking about this song. But the whole idea that you’re uncultured or unintelligent or a sheep if you like the remix is just something I’ve noticed.
It’s not the original actually, daft punk sampled the song ‘cola bottle baby’, if you take a listen to it you’ll notice the instrumental is sampled from it.
