  • This is now one of the only times I will use shake and grip to deliver high-quality multiball feeds.
Shakehand grip is most effective for delivering high-quality long pushes and shots away from the table.
This grip enables me to cock my wrist back to create extremely heavy backspin or to keep my wrist locked which focuses on less spin and more of a float ball.
This is a great exercise to improve shot selection as a lot of people struggle to differentiate between heavy backspin and float balls.
In a game situation, it is important to read how much spin is on the ball so that you can adjust your stroke accordingly.
Shakehand grip also enables the feeder to keep the ball low over the net as well as keeping the feed high quality which is imperative to improve your player's performance.
Always experiment and find the best solution for your game!

If more backspin, the more topspin needed so when I see a backspin I have to just keep reminding myself to close the racket and "pull up!" to add more topspin. Great video - thanks for posting.

Looks like he has too much shoulder movement and too little hip movement. The legs kinda move after instead of before.
