It feels good to see the national gingerbread house competition come back this year and I'm pretty sure that grinch is from the upcoming horror movie about it.
I watch the Food Network's Gingerbread making competition religiously. It is Truly Amazing how Beautiful and unique each one is. This was Really Awesome to see I could Watch this All Day. So Very 🎄 Delightful Thank you For This Holiday Treat😊🎅🎄🤶🎁
Jacob I like the intro like I said before, it has that retro vibe of the 1950s. Awesome. Happy holidays 🎄 now go and make some gingerbread man, don't let it run away, like that old story book .
I love the gingerbread houses and I adore this hotel. It definitely has that evil vibe to it like the Stanley Hote. Thanks for doing a local Asheville place for the holidays.
Thanks for a great video. I love gingerbread houses and you did a nice slow look-see at the houses. They are so beautifully detailed you can hardly believe they are edible.
I LOVED this video Jacob. It gave me all the Christmas feels I needed today! I keep getting Christmas decoration envy when watching yours and Jenn's videos as the choices in the US are HUGE!! Also, I'd pay good money to watch a TV show filled with baby Christmas Yodas 🎄 x
Christmas does not exist in the Star Wars Universe. Way before our time. It is "Light Day" they celebrate the force check it out in the 1978 Star Wars Christmas Special. Old School Star Wars fans Vs Mickey Mouse money these days. There are reasons why Disney Stock down 45% year to date. Avatar 2 going to be one of them.
Great Display of Gingerbread im So Many Creative Ways ! Thank you for sharing your experience I personally prefer the soft gingerbread SAFE Travels Jacob! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY,🎄🎄🎁🎁🍭🍭
I'm not going to lie, that place freaked me out! It looks like the Overlook Hotel from The Shining but more evil. The whole weird gingerbread thing and the elevator down to hell in the fireplace just left me cold lol
Nice video as usual! I've gone to the GPI every Christmas for the last 20 or so years. I met a super nice hotel employee that gave my wife and I a ride up that elevator. It has awesome stained glass art on the ceiling. We went up to the atrium floor and a nice free tour! I never stayed there but enjoy a coffee on the outdoor patio.
Hi there Jacob.. I hope your are keeping well and you are getting all ready for your holiday celebrations.. I am sure that with Jenns help it will be very bright cheerful and full of surprises.. XX
These were awfully impressive ! As an artist, I admire everyone's creativity and attention to detail (since I am not that great at sculpting). I love the fact Presidents stayed at Grove Park as well as F. Scott and Houdini (fans of all 3 of those things). This place may have to go on my bucket list for travel !
Absolutely stunning! Never seen anything like this. Gingerbread is translated as "peperkoek" where i live, which is only a very simple form of pure and soft gingerbread cookie. No decorations, no extras. Living in the neighborhood, but not to close, to a "peperkoek" factory we always have a faint delicious smell on Thursdays, which is their baking day. But i never knew something related to Gingerbread existed, even coming close to what you showed us today. One can only guess at the amount of time and effort adults and children used for their creations. i am really going to rewatch this video multiple times. There is so much detail and so much to see in each of the objects. Thank you, Jacob, really nice! Compliments on the video work of the houses, depth of field, colors etc. Professional!
Yeah gingerbread is a plain cookie, the ones used for these are more hard and crunchy though! They get baked into whatever shapes are needed, and then are “glued” together with icing and decorated with other sweets.
I have to go with the Undersea Gingerbread Scene. I live by the ocean. That one's my favorite. The Knight and the Dragon that were right after that are a very close second.
That would be the Empire State Building not the Chrysler Building. Easy error to make. Just a gentle reminder. Very interesting creations that must have taken forever to make n create,!!! Merry, Merry n Happy Christmas 🎄🦌🎁🎉 to you Jacob. Wonderful video!!!
So beautiful and adorable 🥰🥰🥰 that was amazing day today have a wonderful blessed night and day tomorrow I love ginger bread 🍞🍞🍞 my dear mother made the best
Thank you SO MUCH for the video. I LOVE all of these. I would have put the greenhouse gingerbread one at least in the top 15. I thought that one was really nice. Such great work, and so much fun! Thanks again!
My Faves were stuff like the Train and the Typewriter for intricacey up until I saw the Gumball machine, that pretty much made me go Shut up and Take my money, another great find Jacob and safe travels.
My mother loves snow globes and I try to get her 2 every year because her birthday is December 16th and plus Christmas being so close...I try to find her the most unique ones I can find...I never have seen framed snow globes 😍🤘🤍🙆❄️
Love your channel Jacob! Been watching a while. Great videography & hosting. I have to say, these gingerbread houses look kind of lame compared to the one I'm used to seeing. Look up "Mohegan Sun casino gingerbread house" on RUclips or online. For a good 20 years, they've featured a LIFE SIZE gingerbread house you can walk through, made of real gingerbread. They re-use the same wooden frame, and bake over 7000 gingerbread cookies to build the house every year. I think the local schools bake them for it. Very impressive and a big display every holiday season. Changes in design a little every year too. I've noticed you never seem to come here to New England for some reason. Plenty to do and see. I could make some suggestions if your not sure what to see. My family has been taking home footage of amusement parks since the 70s on film, and home video since 1982. And arcades since the early 80s. I have a lot more to upload. I also collect classic arcade machines.
This is a true story when I was younger, you was talking about a babysitter ghosts, well, when I was young, this lady in red sang to me till I fell asleep, this happened for years, once I grew up I asked my mum (Im in the UK) who was the lady in red who use to sang to me as a child? She said who? We never got you a babysitter when you was younger as we didn't have much money she said... When I got much order, I did some digging into some history on the home, found out that the lady died who also had children in the house.....
Hello and thank you sir! I would love to donate to you but I would have to do it through the mail. Do you have a po box? Thank you for all the joy you bring me. Merry Christmas to you, Jenn and your family.
Love this video! I liked the Star Wars one best of all. Very creative ideas! These kids are pretty creative! Some people can’t even put together a traditional gingerbread house, much less one with lots of intricate details. That hotel is old, for sure. I would like to go there someday but I wouldn’t want to see a ghost. That’s scary! And some of the Nazis being there is scary. It reminds me of Operation Mockingbird where America was doing favors for Nazis in exchange for information. I understand why they did it, but why didn’t they get people who hadn’t been accused of war crimes? They were staying in a luxury hotel. They definitely took advantage of us. I also heard that Jews were forced to help these people. That’s ridiculous! But I guess that’s history. But interesting place! Well, thanks for sharing! Have a great day!
Hey the carpetbagger . I love your Ripley's Believe it or not videos but. I see you have a playlist but noticed that you don't have every Ripley's Believe it or not on it just wondering if you can include the rest of the Ripley's video your playlist.thank you

I loved going there to see all the gingerbread houses each year.
Great video, Jacob. My favorite was the UFO
I love the gingerbread houses and I adore this hotel. It definitely has that evil vibe to it like the Stanley Hote. Thanks for doing a local Asheville place for the holidays.
A gingerbread man needs a lot of dough for $300/night.
Thanks for a great video. I love gingerbread houses and you did a nice slow look-see at the houses. They are so beautifully detailed you can hardly believe they are edible.
So skilled 👍🏻 thanks Jacob
Hello Jacob plus gingerbread men reminds me of a fairytale about a witch turned people into them or the Gingerbread Man .
And I can’t even build a normal gingerbread house 🥲😂love you carpetbagger you’re amazing!
The Grove Park Inn reminds me of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel. I love all of those gingerbread houses. What talented people.
Great job . 🍪 🏠 I like the variety you have on your channel.
I LOVED this video Jacob. It gave me all the Christmas feels I needed today! I keep getting Christmas decoration envy when watching yours and Jenn's videos as the choices in the US are HUGE!!

Visiting Biltmore while staying at Grove Park Inn are well worth making a trip to Asheville, NC.
I bet this place smells amazing
Mrs. Claus cooking show should have made the top ten. It looked better then some of the top ten chosen.
These are charming and amazing. I'm seeing more fondant and royal icing but not so much gingerbread.
So beautiful 😍
Mmmmmmmm Gingerbread Brain from Northeast Ohio

The Mario one, Yoda, Mrs Clause and Stranger things houses would've gotten my vote! I have to go to this hotel someday.

OMG I hate hot drinks too. If it’s a hot liquid it’s a soup.
What are your favorite drinks?

I have to wonder if all of those gingerbread houses are edible, do any of them actually get eaten? Just a thought.
Was that a ghost walking by at the beginning of your vlog?
