Thanks for these suggestions. I keep coming back to your videos because they are just amazing.
much appreciated!
Anyone else been watching since the Enminem days? 2007 is when i first discovered this channel. anyways thanks for the useful video!
This was very helpful, thanks Josh! Also glad to see you uploading again
I've been feeling a bit dodgy about shooting 'popular tourist destinations' but I've done it too and will continue to do so. A good tip I've found is to search your city/location on Instagram (or other social media site) to see what locations others are using at a glance.
Great work as always!
Cool Video, Keep up the good work!
Helpful thanks
You are a good teacher, Josh
wooohooo another video finally , thanks josh mcsquash
Best Advises I heard so far from anyone..I started photography about 2 years back and I am mostly influenced by youtubes...for some reason every youtuber has this sort of video, beginnings mistake.....you are the first person, so far, to make it different from others(definately content wish)... I really liked 2 tips that you shared 1) not to shoot B/W nd 2) not to ask weather you work is good or bad.......keep up the good work.. ✌✌✌✌
I want to see you skate wtfff 😭😭
still working diligently on my next revive part!
Alright😒 I’ll be waiting Josh!!!!
Let the guy do what he wants... It's his channel not yours. If you don't like it then don't sit here and complain, he doesn't owe you anything. Literally all you have to do is not click on the video and bam, everything is right in the world.
Josh Katz if you want more views for your camera vids you gotta either throw in more skate vids, or start giving cameras to random people, do camera pranks, film you going to dangerous places to take pics...step it up J K
Loving the udemy course so far Josh, good to see another upload too!
thanks a bunch homie!
Seen your class on udemy definitely going to take it once I get a laptop soon great teacher thanks :)
Amazing! Enjoy it!
Ayyyy RUclips tutorial WITH the new course I like it!
yew!! everything's dropping today!
I know this is geared towards digital, but with film I’m actually very happy I started it with black and white! black and white film is a lot easier to develop and manipulate in the darkroom, and a lot of the techniques you learn with being able to develop yourself is incredible.
Good your back👍🏻
:]
🙏
I miss ur vlog omg
Where is then the best spot to shoot photos at Harder Kulm in Interlaken, Switzerland to get a really good landscape of the town?
Nice tips! However, I believe that black and white makes you focus more on composition instead of making a photo "interesting" by increasing saturation, which is something everyone does and likes. I believe a bad photo in b&w will actually become worse, not better!
ah an interesting point!
I agree with you though: people shoot black and white because they believe it's more artistic, and perhaps it is for those who know nothing about photography. But those pictures will never be truly good!
I need that dating masterclass before summer, Josh!
Jk, good video haha
Because of this video, you earned my sub
I live in a pretty boring city in belgium but want to make some interesting pictures.do you have Have any tips?

I miss the day in the lifes. How do you Josh Katz do well in school whilst building an online photography course? School is tough.
Happy Birthday :)

I haven't been in your channel in a while, do you still make skate videos?
Notification squad
I just got my G85!!!
currently shooting with fervent goose-dough
Do you still own a skateboard
No but he still owns a helmet though.
he scoots now with a helmet
No watermark? I see a watermark on the lower right of your videos.
Damn I miss your skating videos.
this kook doesn't skate
It’s all about patience and experience lol 😎
switch lenses with the sensor facing the ground mitigate chances of contamination
also a great tip!
I do disagree with the watermark comment. I have had local companies steal my photos with zero shout out or promotion. I do have a distrust of certain people.
Also with the black and white comment. But that’s personal opinion I suppose.
Dig the videos man, very informative and helpful.
Please make back skatevideos
Wait !?!? This is Enminem ? What a small internet world !
yeww!
JUST ONE MORE DITL PLZ I BEG U
Pssst. It's free, eeeehm, screen real estate
Sorry man but I have to disagree with you about black and white (shocker right? Lol I'm sure you saw the b&w defense comments coming), not because it's an unpopular view but just over simplifying and a tad presumptuous maybe? Black and white is great for learning about contrast and shadows, among other things. I don't think it's simply being lazy and just trying to make a photo more interesting, although it is for some people and maybe that's all you're trying to say. This is a video for beginners so I see what you're saying there. But usually you can spot the laziness when all someone does is select the black and white option without upping the contrast to achieve true blacks and whites, resulting in a flat photo. There's a lot more to it and that's my beef with what you've had to say about black and white in this video and past ones. Maybe you just dislike black and white all together and of course I get that, like you said everyone has their favorite styles of shooting and you shouldn't shoot what you don't enjoy. Just throwing some thoughts out there that there's a lot more to black and white than feigned style. I will say your boldness to criticize has challenged me as a photographer, and that's a good thing. Thanks for sharing what you've learned and I definitely appreciate your desire to help other photographers out. You definitely have greater photo skills than me I can absolutely admit that!
I thought you puit RUclips
percy jackson?
Why am I still subscribed to you?
Larry Crumbs cause u love him
yeah helmet wearing scootard kooks aren't very interesting
