    When building one and having trouble figuring out how to get the Crew Cabin, body, & Ramp just Right, i learned the Set Designers of ROTJ had the same problem, especially with the 7 foot tall Vader, so the Actual Built Shuttle does have different dimensions than the miniature in the movie.((Very end of the Video You mention it too. Great Job!!))

    I've loved this ship for 40 years and you're the first person to explain why it's called the Lamda Class. It's hilarious how simple, Like A,X, or Y, just didn't know the Latin alphabet. Thank You!!

    Great job 👍. I had a model of this shuttle when I was a kid. I kept it for a long time, before I gave it away .

    One of my all-time favourite ships of the Star Wars universe. That was excellent!

    The intro to Star Wars: Rebellion features the shuttle prominently whether you choose the Empire or Rebellion. I bought three of the die cast shuttles to have one open for the memories, one for storage as new, and one for a gifting. It's an icon for the saga.
    Which reminds me I should dust off my lamb or llama shuttle.

    A good ship to take the children to school, or for a weekend getaway to Nal Hutta.

    I keep hearing about a rear firing cannon, but it definitely used to be a proton torpedo launcher.

    Wonder if the nose drooping is related to the IRL Concorde passenger jet's similar feature. The timing works out.

      I’ve never thought about that, would be super cool if that was the case! Pretty fitting, too, to be fair

    • @RadioFreeCoruscant
      @RadioFreeCoruscant  Год назад

      The nose doesn’t actually move on the Lambda shuttle, its position is just inconsistent between the original filming miniature and ground set. It would be cool if it did, though!

    What an excellent compilation of information. The way that you pronounced Nien Numb is different than I have ever heard, is there a source that you got this from (did any Bothans die to bring this information)? I am curious because so many other words were pronounced the same as I have heard, leading me to believe the difference was intentional.
    Either way, thanks for a good video I subscribed.

    • @RadioFreeCoruscant
      @RadioFreeCoruscant  Год назад +1

      It’s spelled “Nien Nunb” like Numb with an N instead of an M, so I figured that’s how it was pronounced. I don’t know if that’s actually correct though.

    • @ketatgenhorst
      @ketatgenhorst Год назад +1

      @@RadioFreeCoruscant I like it. I halways thought that Nien would rhyme with mean, but you made it two syllables and I like the sound.

      @RadioFreeCoruscant  2 месяца назад

      I didn’t say it was two variants, I said the set didn’t match the filming miniature. To my knowledge, the cockpit has never been depicted swiveling (though that would be a cool feature!).
