    Well this app works pretty well and I’m not sure why I would need an external device at this point I would just use the iPad this is a lot of redundancy.

    John Mathews asked the key question a year ago that was unanswered,,,, can you go the other way from the chartplotter to our navionics on your ipad or phone? can you download a track via wireless???

      Routes & Markers on MFD will be transferred to the App Archiv. MFD Routes & Markers need to be saved as GPX to Card before transfer.

    Hi, I have the app, Navionics plus and two HDS7-Gen3 sharing the Navionics plus card. I'm connected to one of the HDS-7. The "Sync" now button is grayed out. When I disconnect it, the "Sync Now" button is green. when pressed, it tells me to connect the ipad to the network. I do that, and just get the spin of death, and I have to cancel out. Is it intended to work with the HDS-7 gen3?

    Is it possible to also move the chart live made on the unit to the app? and how? Thanks

    • @lowrance

      The Genesis Live data will be recorded onto a micro SD card and only viewable with the use of that card. You cannot import Genesis Live data onto the app.

    if u already have markers and routes on ur units software when u sync over the ones for the mobile software does it delete all the existing files on the units software? or does it just add them as well?

    Will any navionics card subscription work for this? I was looking at hot maps platinum.

    • @lowrance
      @lowrance  2 года назад

      Please double check that with Navionics. You will need a compatible unit, not available with the Hook2/Hook Reveal series.

    This thrown together software is already outdated. Notice how many responses are here? I'll certainly purchase something comprehensive. I'm sick of software patches and BS functionality.

    Is Navionics a one time fee or do you have to renew every year? Also, If I subscribe to this app until it expires can I renew the dock to dock feature or do I have to renew the entire program?

    • @TeamColibri
      @TeamColibri 4 года назад

      The app-subscription is a yearly fee - so is the subscription on your Navionics mappingcard.

    Or, you could just take your iPad with you, so you don't have to pay an extra 300 bucks for the card for the HDS.

    Do you have to have the card for the auto Route? I have the app but no card. Card is on it's way.. I also have Elite 7TI

    • @TeamColibri
      @TeamColibri 4 года назад

      Yes, you need a Navionics card with an active subscription.

  • @stephenlnoe

    Just, why? It was much much better when the windows app was around and you could transfer your created routes with the SD card.

      I have an Lowrance Elite-4 HDI for my kayak & have put the card in to the sd slot with windows 10. The map displays. Didn't try planning any routes but will try soon to see if it works. I also have a 7th gen ipad 10.2" & maybe I'll get the app anyway. worst case scenario is I have print out a waypoint list to enter on the FF.
