it was a real church, its been decomissioned and restored as filming spot for the entertainment industry.
There were some butthurt people claiming that Le Sserafim disrespected a christianity by filming this MV in a church, but as usual people that cry the loudest on the internet are the same people that refuse to do their due diligance and do some actual research.

It's not a REAL church. It's just a set in LA that film makers also use in movies and shoot of music video. it was already clarified by the girls that it's just a set. the director of this MV is actually is a Christian and wrote the whole concept of the music video. it's not used as an active church, just the structure and stuff and concept fits in it. check this behind the scene: ruclips.net/video/21SqDJocEe8/видео.html

If you are looking for Le Sserafim Live stages I would suggest their Kcon Japan Love Shot cover or MMA 2022 stage those got a lot of love but they also have other really good ones as Le Sserafim is known for their performance. Such as all of their end of year stages or their live performances for their other songs in their album. My personal favorite was The Boys cover and No Celestial comeback stage. Hope you can check them out!

If you plan to react to Le sserafim’s b-sides I recommend The Great Mermaid from their debut album, it’s not as hyped as some of their other b-sides but it’s one of my faves from them, I also like how the name of the song is a play on “The little mermaid” and it’s about them refusing to give up their voice. Blue Flame would be a great pick too.
I will also once again recommend Red Velvet and try to advertise them a little bit so you’d get to them sooner hopefully hehe. Red Velvet are known for their double concept, the “red” in their name represents their bright upbeat side, while “velvet” is for their darker more mature side. They’re one of the most diverse groups in kpop both sound and concept wise. Other things they’re known for are their weird sometimes creepy mvs, beautiful vocals and harmonies and amazing b-sides.

12:38 the Crazy is a "spoiler" for their next album. Just like how in the Fearless, Antifragile, and Unforgiven trilogy they had a quote at the end of the videos hinting at the next album. The new trilogy will most likely be Easy, Crazy, and Hot. Also appreciate you recognizing the religious imagery that le sserafim uses, took a church for most people to realize that lol.

my favorite Kpop girl group is "Blackpink" but seeing your channel and the things you're into i don't think you will like them (btw they are the biggest girl group in the world not only in Kpop) they give power with very hyped music (most of the time) if you ever wanted to check them out i would recommend the song "How you like that", also i would recommend "Twice" it is a very good girl group (2nd biggest girl group in the world) with a very girly style (in my opinion)

Idk.... I really liked Fearless and Unforgiven albums, and Smart is a nice vibe, but I can't overcome myself to not feel uncomfortable with the references in "easy", that I really feel are offensive to me as a Christian. Maybe many people enjoy the references, because they don't mind Christian symbology being used in a distorted way, but I kinda feel that us Christians deserve the same respect and tolerance given to any other religion too. There are so many of us literally being persecuted and killed for their faith in Christ, having to worship hidden in the underground, what they would give to be able to freely step into a church and take communion with their brethren, and yet, here we are, where a group that self claims to be Christian, is quite literally stepping into this place of worship reserved to Christ, our Lord and savior, taking Him out of His altar, and putting themselves up there instead, to be idolized and worshipped in His stead..... just making it look "easy".... I know it was just a set and not a real church, but it's about the WAY the symbology was used. And the fact that director claims to be Christian, in my opinion, makes it way worse. I'm sorry, I really want to stand behind them, but on this one, it just feels so wrong to my core. Which is why I can't support this release.... catchy song or not.... it feels so wrong to me.

I can definitely understand your concerns and I think this is an important topic. It is important to make people aware that there are people like you who really feel uncomfortable because of this.
