Hi Rose and Gary, I really like the concept of covering those springs in new to me GL! I'm wondering if, rather than screws and grommets, if using snaps similar to those that hold the screen doors on would work? I'd like to be do separate sections, and be able to remove it to clean if needed. Is this feasible? Thanks!
That's exactly what I've been planning on doing since we bought our 2020 59G. The only thing different I'm going to do is reuse the drawer facings and put hinges on them to keep a "stock" look. Great job and enjoy the much needed space!
Thanks for commenting. We thought about the facing but decided that because the bicycles are in the isle the hinged drawers would be difficult to access. The cover on the bed springs is fantastic. No more wrestling with the mattress, It jus slides down and slides up, easy peasy.

The cover worked well. I imagine snaps would be a good idea. I didn't think about it.
@@ScreamerTR Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I'll proceed at some point this winter.

how much weight do the beds hold?
Never had a problem with it holding my wife and me. A combined weight of 370 pounds. I have no idea what a max weight limit is.
