HOW TO CROCHET a YOKE

- Hi there!
One of my viewers asked me for some crocheted yokes, she wants to make a top with a crocheted yoke and a fabric bottom. I did my best to create something, hope you like the result!
It is really easy to make and the result is beautiful. You can make the bottom out of fabric or make a crocheted bottom.

What is the size to this yoke? Adult or baby?
This is an adult size. You can make it smaller by making less rows.
How do I measure the shoulders of a two-year-old child? And how many rows less for 2 years old baby?
I would take a well-fitting shirt or sweater from the two year old and measure it from shoulder to shoulder. I can't determine the amount of rows you need to get that width, it depends on the yarn and how tight or loose you crochet. If you choose a thinner yarn and a smaller hook you can make more rows as well. You can also always put the work on the shirt to see if the yoke is already big enough. Hope this helps, good luck!
